HMS Campbelltown Craftmaster Issue Exc Injection Molded old | ||
| Dramatic Craftmaster artwork. Well detailed kit. On March 8, 1942, the Campbeltown sailed up the Loire River. Her mission was to destroy the Normandie Drydock, a possible haven for the Tirpitz which was holed up on Norway at this time. The Campbeltown was disguised as a German warship and the bow was packed with 8500 lbs of high explosive depth charges. Under a RAF diversion, Campbeltown fought her way up the river and rammed the dock doors at full speed. Charges at the stern sank the back of the ship and she was wedged in the dock. During a German inspection 8 hours later, the charges went off, scattering parts of the ship up to one mile away. The dock was rendered useless to the Tirpitz, who now had to stay in Norway. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions. | |||

| One of the finest motor yacht kits ever made. From the late 1950s. Features fine detail and 225 parts. Can be made for radio control or as a highly detailed static model. This is the finest example of this model that I have had. The outer box is very good with some wear but has perfect color and shine. The model has never been started. This kit is in mint condition inside - all parts are still in the factory sealed bags. The very large instructions/plans are mint also. Molded with cast metal accessories, metal and brass hardware and classic 1950s turquoise, brown, white, clear and peach colored and chrome plated plastic. Includes the famous Captain, deck chairs and the two 'Bathing Beauties'. | |||

Fairey Rotodyne Cutaway Model with Full Interior VG+++ Injection Molded old | ||
| Very rare. Unique and highly detailed model in near 1/72 scale of this vertical take-off and landing transport airplane. The first prototype flew in November 1957 and appeared at the Farnborough Air Show three years later. The Rotodyne could carry 60 civil passengers 0r 70 fully equipped troops as well as cargo. Cruising speed was 175 kts and maximum range was 610 nm. Kit features cut away design - a large fuselage panel can be removed to show off the complete interior with passenger seats, passengers, pilots, stewardess, baggage compartment (complete down to the suitcases), bathroom with toilet and cargo compartment including boxes, tire, carpet and barrel. Another panel comes off at the support for the rotor to reveal internal aircraft structure and the rotor power transmission. Also includes complete cockpit, working boarding door and stairs, working rear clam-shell cargo doors, operating rudder and elevators and rotating wheels, props and main rotor. The model has not been started. The parts are either in factory sealed bag(s) or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. | |||
