Dornier DO X (DO-X) Flying Boat Fair Injection Molded old | ||
| Famous German Flying Boat built in 1929. Dornier dreamed that this huge aircraft would become a trans-oceanic airliner with passengers traveling in ocean liner-like luxury. A tour of South and North American was conducted, but orders never materialized due to excessive fuel consumption and a lack of power. Total load was 170 passengers and crew, and the 12 engines developed 7200 HP. Very nicely detailed kit. Never started. Factory sealed bags with decals and instructions. Box has damage as shown but parts are mint. | |||

| Rare and humorous kit complete with story. Reportedly Weiner Moldy attacked his own "blimp", never noticing that it had huge Iron Crosses on the side. This sentenced him to three year of torture - watching Hogan's Heros reruns. This kit is dated 1971 and is part of the Deal's Wheels collection designed by Deal himself. Very large scale kit complete with figure and more. I guessed at the scale since it is not listed. It's close to 1/32 or even smaller, like 1/28. Never started. Lockheed F-94C Starfire Interceptor - With One Piece Stand Arm - Pre 'S' Kit NM- Injection Molded old | ||
| 1954 Pre-S issue. This is the rare second issue. The first issue was in the simple one-piece box and Revell quickly converted to this two-piece box as it was much more durable and a full-color lithographed 'slick' could be used. For the second issue, Revell added rivet and raised panel line detail as well as landing gear, a two piece box and H210-79 kit number. The famous 'Globe' clear stand was added, but this kit has the rare one piece stand arm and the instructions reflecting that. Revell quickly realized that the one-piece arm was not strong enough, and quickly modified it to the familiar three piece arm for the 3rd issue. The box is in exceptional condition with four solid corners, as new color and gloss and minimal wear. The model has never been started. The small parts are still in the small factory bag, and the parts that were never factory sealed have been inventoried 100% complete. Decals and instructions are in near mint condition as well. | |||
