	Includes working sprung metal trucks. Roundhouse (by Model Die Casting) was a famous manufacture of HO Craftsman kits in the 1940s/1950s. This is one of their all- metal car kits. Very well detailed and crisply cast with little or no flash. Molded in details are superb. Features all metal one piece floor, one piece hopper, factory painted and lettered sides for CP, three piece brake set, couplers, pocket doors, bushings, screws as needed, full instructions with drawings and more. The prepainted sides are as new and were only removed to take this photograph. The car ends, hopper and floor are very straight for easy assembly. They are not warped, as is common with some all metal kits. The kit has never been started. Many parts are still factory sealed - those that were not factory sealed have been inventoried complete including instructions.

The prepainted sides are excellent. One of the four sides has a bubble in the paint that can be easily glued down. During the golden era of realistic train models, La Belle Woodworking Company created perhaps the very finest scale kits of early American passenger equipment. The kit features die cut hardwood parts (no balsa) such as pre-cut and scribed sides with all windows (including arches) factory cut, car ends done in the same fashion, carved clerestory roof, tinted clear clerestory window material, working end diaphragms, underside details, metal details, building instructions and full size plans. I have seen these models built and they look identical to the real prototypes. The kit has not been started and is complete with all parts, sealed smaller details and plans.

	Still factory sealed. In the late 1940s/early 1950s there was a revolution in model railroading: high quality kits became available for the first time. Before this, there were few standard gauges and most railroads were scratch built to any gauge the collector desired. This kit is the Menzies reissue of the classic Athearn kit. These kits build very realistic models because parts that are metal on the real box car are metal in the kit; same for the wooden parts. All sides, doors and roof are fully decorated, leaving very little painting. Includes wooden floor, opening doors, metal underside and detail fittings such as AB brake set, brake wheel, etc. These make great stand alone models or high-quality rolling stock for your line.
