![]() Westland Lysander Chrome Plated VG+ Injection Molded old
| 1968 Chrome plated version with John Andrews artwork. Very nicely detailed with full cockpit for pilot and observer, opening canopy, detailed engine and optional bomb load. The condition of the chrome is remarkable - I have rated it as 'NM' (near mint). The only wear is what little you would expect when it was shipped to the original hobby shop. All clear protection sleeves are still intact and the parts are separated for safe shipment. Never started. 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. | |||

1/48 #510-129 Hawk
![]() 4 Famous Racing Planes Gift Set Gee Bee / Ike / R3C-1 / Laird Solution VG++ Injection Molded old
| Rare. This model is from 1956 and was the last issue from Hawk to features these four aircraft in the originally-molded vivid colors as well as the last issue of the R3C-1 with landing gear (the molds were modified to make it a floatplane, making any reissue impossible). The Gee Bee is molded in bright gloss red, the Laird Solution in a light olive drab gloss, the Ike in bright white and the R3C-1 in brilliant yellow. The box is excellent. Inside, the kits have not been started. All four are still sealed in the original stapled bags. Includes special one-piece instruction sheet for all aircraft and correct one-piece decal sheet. | |||

![]() Republic F-84 Thunderjet One-Piece Box Issue VG+ Injection Molded old
| Rare early first issue Hawk kit in the flip-top box from 1949. (Please see the article about early USA plastic kit development on this site.) The kit is molded in the correct light gloss gray with the early style stand and correct instructions. Please note that Hawk did not issue decals with this early first issue. The instructions make it clear how to paint the markings, which are raised on the moldings. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions. Hawk was a manufacture of 1/48 constant scale solid wooden models back in the 1920s (well before plastic), but they jumped on the plastic band wagon very early. Most of the first issue 'flip box' plastic kits were 1/48, such as this kit. | |||

1/48 #627-60 Hawk
![]() Gee Bee Racer - 1932 Thompson Trophy Winner Exc++++ Injection Molded old
| 1960 softbox issue with artwork by Bill Campbell. The Gee Bee was designed and built by Granville Brothers Aircraft Inc. of Springfield, Massachusetts. The radical design has a wingspan of only 25 feet and a length of 19 feet and 9 inches. The power plant was a supercharged Pratt & Whitney Wasp with an output of 800 hp through a Smith controllable-pitch propeller. Designed specifically to win air races and set speed records, the Gee Bee was a very fast but aerodynamically unstable aircraft. It's most famous pilot, Jimmy Doolittle, flew the ship to victory then walked away, saying that he would never fly it again. Many lost their lives in this legendary but unforgiving aircraft. Never started. 100% complete with all parts decals and instructions. | |||
1/72 #604-50 Hawk

Decals are stuck hard and completely to the instructions. They will be destroyed if removed. I have included a photocopy of the instructions.
