| The N9H was the final refinement of the Curtiss model 5 'N' Series aircraft. It was developed from it's more famous relative, the JN series and was essentially a navalized 'Jenny'. It was the Navy's first mass produced training aircraft. 560 were built and they served from 1916 to 1926. The aircraft was loved by aircrews and was responsible for training the nucleus of WWII US Naval Aviation. Esoteric was known for making perhaps the finest vacuform kits. The moldings are crisp and have fine recessed detail - better than many injection molded kits. Every part needed to complete the kit is included down to the interior. Includes metal parts - decals - shaped struts and full instructions. Never started and 100% complete. | |||
