| Very cleanly molded and well detailed model. Includes decals for one Czech Air Force and one Civil aircraft. The model as never been started. The parts are either still in the factory sealed bag or have been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. The D-1 has an interesting history. The Skoda Works Aircraft Division was created to build the first Czech metal fuselage aircraft, then to move to an all metal aircraft. Due to a lack of experience in this field, the famous French firm of Emile Dewoitine was contacted. Dewoitine had been developing a promising fighter called the D-12C-1. Skoda wished to build this aircraft under license, but the future of the D-12C-1 for the French Air Force was uncertain. Eventually the D-12 was abandoned for the D-19C-1, which resulted in the D-21C-1, which saw series production. An agreement was finally reached with Skoda to produce the D-12 and the first aircraft was completed in 1928. A further 25 were built by 1929. The design was very rugged but outclassed by more agile designs. Due to the high durability, they lead a very long service life, being fully retired in 1939. | |||

![]() Avia S-199 'Mezek' (Bf-109 - Me-109) Czech Air Force VG Injection Molded new
| Unique kit of this domestically produced Czech single-seat fighter based on the Me-109. When the Germans left Czechoslovakia in 1945, the Avia Works completed a small number of Bf-109G-6 and G-14 airframes with abandoned German engines. The single seat aircraft were designated S-99 and the two seater CS-99. Due to a shortage of DB-605 engines and replacement parts, Avia adapted the well-stocked Jumo-211 engines and the single seat S-199 and 2 seat CS-199 were born. First flown in March of 1947, about 500 S-199s were produced up till 1951 and remained in service till the mid 1950s when they were replaced by MIG-15. Kit includes detailed descriptions and markings markings for three historically significant aircraft. Cleanly molded with very fine raised panel line details, good cockpit and choice of two canopies. Nicely detailed. The model as never been started. The parts are either still in the factory sealed bag or have been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. KP stood for Kovozavody Prostejov. Many USA builders had their first exposure to Eastern Block kits in the 1980s from KP. Although they certainly cannot compete with recent Tamiya or Hasegawa kits, they had good details for that time and can be built up into some beautiful and unique models. | |||

1/48 Heller
![]() SNECMA Coléoptère - Two Piece Box Issue Exc- Injection Molded old
| Very rare early Heller issue from the late 1950s. This is the two-piece high gloss box with very desirable artwork. Please note that on these early kits Heller did not assign kit numbers on the box. Very nicely molded kit in big 1/48 scale. This kit has never been started. It is either still in the internally sealed factory bag or has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions. Please note that Heller did not issue decals with this early release. Shipping insurance is required. The Société National d'Etude et de Construction de Moteurs d'Aviation (SNECMA) Coléoptère was a French vertical take-off and landing design that was to make expensive (and vulnerable) airfields obsolete. A thrust ratio of greater than 1:1 was achieved, and tests began in 1956. The design did fly and stole the show at Le Bourget in June 1957. However, like the Lockheed Pogo, it proved to be dangerous and quite a handful to fly. | |||

It is either still in the internally sealed factory bag or has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.
