Merchant Fleet Gift Set 'S' Kit - C3 Freighter 'Hawaiian Pilot' - Standard Oil of California T-2 Tanker 'J.L. Hanna' - Harbor Tug ' Long Beach' - with Glue / Paint / Brush Good++ Injection Molded old | ||
| Rare 1956 Revell Gift set containing all three ships. This was the first and only issue of this specific gift set and features spectacular special box artwork. The tugboat is 1/108 scale and the tanker and cargo ship are both 1/400. Inside, the kit is correct. The special color cardboard over lay is factory fresh. The tug and C-3 hulls are factory painted red (the T-2 was molded in red so it was not painted). Decals are included. The instruction sheets are excellent. The three kits have not been started, and all most small parts are still in the factory bags while all parts that were never factory sealed have been inventoried 100% complete. The box is complete and has four solid corners. There is no tape, tape marks, price tags or price tag marks. However, there is general wear, light stains as shown. Shipping insurance is required with this kit. | |||

| Very rare science fiction kit from the late 1950s that Strombecker issued in cooperation with Walt Disney's classic motion picture 'Man In Space'. The RX-1 features a 1st stage with 29 engines, 2nd stage with 9 engines, third stage with one engine, and a reusable RX-1 Shuttle on the top. Model features all motors, four removable stages, launch pad and gantry with large colorful decal sheet in exceptionally good condition. Molded in correct gray plastic. Never started. | From the Strombecker science fiction series released with Disney's famous landmark 'Man in Space' movie series. This kit is a completely transparent model of the three stage rocket and satellite. Has colorful paper inserts that go on the inside of the parts to show the interior of the missile such as liquid and solid fuel tanks, fuel system, launcher details, etc. Features launch base, three separating stages and metal 'satellite'. Stinson Model T Tri-Motor - Eastern Air Service Exc+ Injection Molded old | ||
| Rare. This famous early 1930s transport was the primary competition of the Ford Tri-Motor and saw widespread use. It was the idea of E.L. Cord, the money behind the aircraft and the owner of the Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg automobile company. Cord also owned Lycoming, the engines that ended up on the final product. Another of Cord's companies was Century Airlines, which naturally used the aircraft. Century later became part of American Airlines. The Model T was used by many other airlines including Eastern, Delta, Braniff, TWA, United and American when they rolled up Century. The Tri-Motor carried 10 passengers, baggage and of course the mail, which was critical to early airline revenue. The aircraft proved successful and economical to operate. Includes clear windows, interior with passengers and pilots, Eastern Air Service decals and clear blue-tinted display stand. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. | |||

| Rare and highly detailed kits from original Taimei molds. These are unique and accurate kits. The original internal frame structure and details of the aircraft is built from injection molded plastic. When complete, it is covered with a very strong fabric which is included. The result is a very realistic aircraft. Never started. The parts are still in the factory sealed bags complete with instructions. Fuji also released this kit from ex-Taimei molds, and since Entex lists the kits as being made in Japan (and uses Fuji's box art), it is likely that Fuji molded the kits for Entex. Some of these molds found their way to Renwal, where they may have been the inspiration for the famous Aeroskin series. | |||

Douglas DC-7C BOAC Good+ Injection Molded old | ||
| Very rare. 1950s two piece hardbox issue. Very close to 1/100 scale and still the largest injection molded DC-7 kit. Nicely molded with very fine raised panel line detail and recessed control surfaces and doors. The box has great color, four solid corners, no price tags and the only tape is the remains of the factory sealing tape. The box has a pencil point closed hole and a 1.5 inch closed tear on the upper long side panel. There is general shelf wear and light stains which are visible on the box top. Inside, the special cardboard side housing is still held in place with the original staples and contains an unopened tube of colorful Frog cement and a glass vial of white paint with the factory cork. The paint and glue are still good. The decals have not rolled and are in 'very good' condition. The instructions are excellent with light yellowing and have no tears or writing. The kit is molded in the correct gloss silver and clear plastic with a large dark blue stand. The kit has never been started and has been inventoried complete with all parts, decals, instructions, glue and paint. The propellers are on the original cardboard holder and the blades are not broken. Shipping insurance is required on this model. | |||

LST - Landing Ship Tank Good- Injection Molded old | ||
| Very rare kit for the advanced collector. From the very early 1950s. This is the O-Lin issue of the Varney LST. The Varney kit line was introduced in the late 1940s and was very innovative - including the multi-media LST and PT boat and what was likely the first injection molded airplane (PT-17) and ship model (Fleet Sub) kits in the USA. These excellent kits were unsuccessful due to poor distribution and incorrect marketing by retailers. Varney soon discontinued production of these four kits. O-Lin, (Mr. Olsen and Paul Lindberg) purchased these molds and modified them in several ways. The LST had been a wooden kit with dozens of injection molded detail parts. The O-Lin kit utilized the injection molded details (done in multi-color tennite plastic), but created a vacuform hull, cardboard deck, water-slide decals and flags and soldered metal wire railings. O-Lin did not use the wooden hull from Varney as a form for the vac hull, but created their own. This kit has not been started. The parts that were factory sealed are still in the factory sealed bag. The rest of the parts have been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. | |||

Breguet Br.1150 (BR-1150) Atlantic Marine Patrol Aircraft - With Automatic Landing Gear / Radome / Boarding Stairs VG Injection Molded old | ||
| Very Rare. Early version with 'automatic' retractable landing gear, radome and rear boarding stairs. Pull the rear 'MAD' boom out, and the nose and main landing gear retract, the radome lowers and the boarding stairs retract into the fuselage. Push the boom in, and the nose and main gear lowers, the radome retracts and the stairs are lowered. This is accomplished through an interesting system of wires, springs and cables. Several other very early Heller kits (like the Entendard) also had such complex operating features. First issue from the 1960s with no part number. Very high gloss box art. Larger 1/100 scale kit also features with real rubber tires, cockpit detail, moving rudder, elevators, ailerons and wing flaps and rotating wheels and propellers. Molded in silver, clear and black and with the large black Heller display stand. The kit has never been started. Internal factory sealed bags including decals and instructions in French and English. | |||

This is reissue of one of Aurora's first two kits (F-90 and F9F) which were copies of the Hawk molds. The original issue did not have landing gear and rockets; this issue does and also has the correct triangle two-piece clear base. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. NOTE: the canopy is intact but has a 1/2" closed crack. | |||

| Still factory sealed but the seal has some splits. Hard to find kit of the last WWII carrier class. Has John Steele artwork from the 'Picture Fleet' series. Although designed for the Pacific battles, the Midway and her sisters did not see service in WWII. The Midway was the first surface ship to launch a ballistic missile. She and her sisters served proudly in the post-war years until replaced by the super-carriers. | |||
