| From 1961. First issue of this very rare kit. Large 1/4 scale. Features break-away block sections 'so you can see what it does and why' - each engine part really moves like the real engine - spark plugs 'fire' (flashing lights) - motorized full engine action - can be torn down and rebuilt just like a real engine. Metal screwdriver, nuts, bolts, valve springs and electric motor are included, as well as full instructions. Inside, the cardboard divider is present and the decals, Master Modeler Application, MM trading stamp and booklet 'The Story of the Internal Combustion Engine' are included. Correctly molded in four colors - black, red, silver and gray. The kit has never been started. The gray parts are still sealed in their original factory bag. All small metal parts (contacts, springs), screwdriver, motor and light bulbs are factory sealed as well. The black and silver parts bag was opened and it has been inventoried 100% complete. The red parts bag had cuts in it, so it was also inventoried 100% complete. Although complete, this kit has the several of the typical broken piston rings. The oil pan has a closed crack. The box top has good color, four solid corners and no repairs but has heavy creases and heavy corner/edge wear as shown. There are no tape, price tags or tape/tag marks. | |||

| 1956 first and only issue. This rare kit contains all five aircraft models. The box is very good with excellent color and gloss, no tape or tape marks, no price tag or tag marks, no litho tears and three solid corners. The other corner has been correctly repaired with glue from the inside. There is light wear and a crease at the lower left, but the main flaw is one all of these boxes share - there is the left over marks from the ribbon that Revell wrapped the kits in. Inside, the kit has the two factory dividers. All kits contain the famous Revell clear 'Globe' stand. The kits have never been started. Four of them are still factory sealed in the factory bags with the decals and instructions. The B-57 bag was opened, but it has not been started and is inventoried 100% complete and correct with all parts, decals and instructions. Shipping insurance is required on this kit. | |||

| Very rare kit from 1941. Measured 18.5 inches long when assembled. Nicely designed kit that includes a very unusual detailed hanger deck assembly. Issued shortly before the war, the model was not reissued after the war since the Wasp was lost off Guadalcanal by what is likely the most damaging submarine torpedo salvo in history. Includes completely pre-molded and shaped wood-material hull in excellent, solid condition, 5 sheets of cleanly done printwood, wood stock in many shapes and sizes, a sealed fittings packet (I can tell that it contains at least the oval funnel) and two packs of Casco Glue. Features excellent full size plans and instructions. The plans show numerous detail view of the ships substructure and a detailed view of the hanger deck, flight deck with pre-war markings and island. Never started. Factory sealed fittings bag with the other parts inventoried complete with instructions. | |||

Includes solid precarved balsa hull, seven sheets of cleanly done printwood, other precarved and shaped wooden parts, dozens of cast metal fittings, wood stock and masts/yards in many sizes, running and standing rigging material, sail material, full color insignia and more. Features excellent full size plans and instructions. The plans show numerous sectional and detail view of the ship and a painting guide. There is a separate instruction sheet, which was unusual for Ideal. NOTE: the main deck has been neatly cut from it's printwood sheet. Quality of the cut is excellent. There are no other removed parts and no gluing. One side elevation has been adult colored to illustrate the correct color scheme. Quality of the coloring is excellent. Inventoried complete with all parts, plans and instructions. One short end panel is missing on the box. | |||

Also includes full size plans/instructions with perspective and numerous detail sectional views, metal fittings (propeller and anchors), other preformed parts (such as stacks) wood stock and dowels, metal stock as required and four sheets of printwood. Grumman F9F Panther - 1st Brooklyn Issue Good+++ Injection Molded old | ||
| Rare 1st issue from 1952 in the one-piece flip top box. 100% original and correct. The model is molded in the correct gloss dark blue with a clear square 'Brooklyn' stand, stand arm and canopy. Being the first issue, the model does not significant rivet detail, nor was it molded with landing gear or missiles. The entire kit is 13 parts including the stand and stand arm. The instructions are the correct early small Brooklyn version with very minor bug damage. Decals are correctly marked 'The Tatem Company' and are in excellent condition with some curl and minimal yellowing. The box is one of the better I have seen. It is intact - there are no missing parts and no repairs. As is typical with this issue, the fragile box has some small tears, creases and edge wear as shown. In summary, a 100% correct, never started and complete kit for the advanced collector of Aurora or military aircraft models. This kit must be shipped insured. Kit History: In the early 1950s Aurora was making children's toys. Since they were always looking for new avenues of business, the three founders were interested in the new fad of 'plastic models'. They were shown the Hawk F-90 and F9F kits in 1/48, and the rest is history. Aurora copied the F9F and F-90 to issue their very first plastic kits. The boxes were two color one-piece flip top boxes of very thin cardboard; the damaged so easily that the kits were immediately reissued in the more familiar 'hardbox' of a litho slick glued to heavy cardboard. | |||

| Fantastic Cold War Box art. KVZ was the logo used by this East German kit manufacture from 1969 to 1973. During this time, some unique Cold War kits were produced of Russian Airliners and Military Helicopters and Aircraft. Large and colorful decal sheet is in excellent condition. The kit is molded in white, clear, silver and black and includes full landing gear and a large display stand. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts, decals, stand and instructions. Please note that the box art is Interflug, but the kit decals are for Aeroflot. | |||
