1/48 #524-98 Lindberg
![]() Junkers Ju-87B Stuka VG+++ Injection Molded old
| Late 1950s hardbox issue with Ray Gaedke box artwork. Please note that this is an early issue with the white circle on the rudder for the swastika. The swastika is not present on the box artwork. However, the decals had the swastika and the factory partially cut them out of the sheet. As a historical note, this kit was originally issued with the swastika on the box art and decals - Lindberg quickly recognized that this was poor publicity in the USA at that time and more importantly that the kit could not be sold in Europe. The second issue had the box art modified to remove the swastika but not the white circle and the offending markings were cut from the decal sheet. The third issue had the white circle removed from the box art and the decal sheet was redesigned to exclude it also. Molded in correct gloss medium green and clear, with the futuristic Lindberg 'V' shaped clear stand. For it's time, this was an excellent kit with fine panel and rivet detail. Features crew of two and seats, separately molded rudder and flap/ailerons, four small wing load bombs and a center bomb with 'swing arm' so that it would clear the prop in a dive. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. | |||

![]() Bell P-39 Aircobra - With Swastika Kill Markings - 'S' Kit VG Injection Molded old
| 1955 'S' first issue. This is the rare issue with Swastika Kill Markings on the box artwork. Richard Kishady did the famous painting for this kit and originally included German kill markings on the nose of the P-39. Very shortly after this, Revell began to export kits to Europe. Shortly after World War II, many European countries banned the swastika. Revell changed the box art to Japanese kill markings, making the kit legal to sell in those countries. Never started. 100% inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. Box would grade higher but it has a crease along the lower front. | |||
1/72 #611-50 Hawk
![]() SBD Dauntless - Picture Gallery Issue Good++ Injection Molded old
| Rare Late 1950s hardbox Picture Gallery Issue. The hard-to-find 'Picture Gallery' series was Hawk's first move away from the thin one piece boxes and to full color artwork. The artist doing this early work fell sick and Hawk needed the artwork immediately - Bill Campbell was contacted and did box art for Hawk from that point on. Molded in correct light baby blue plastic with green-tinted clear canopy and green/clear teardrop shaped base. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. NOTE: one machine gun and one gear door are silver and not blue. These two parts are from a later issue of this kit. | |||

![]() Sikorsky S-55 Helo Exc+++ Injection Molded old
| First issue from 1956 with Northern Lights logo. This was the only year with this logo, which was quickly replaced in 1957 with the famous oval 'Famous Fighters' version. This is a large 1/48 scale kit that was issued after Aurora purchased the molds from Helicopter for Industry. The kit has never been started. All parts are still in the factory sealed bag. I had never seen this kit in a factory sealed bag until now, so I took the precaution of doing a 'through the bag inventory'. The kit is 100% complete with all parts. Correct early decals and instructions are also included. | |||

1/547 #H307-249 Revell
![]() Midway Class Carrier USS Franklin D. Roosevelt - Pre 'S' First issue with Early Instructions VG++ Injection Molded old
| Original Pre 'S' release and the true first issue. When Revell designed the model, information reached the man designing the instructions that there was a yardarm on the main mast - part #28. The mold cutter or designer either forgot about this part or never got word - and the molds were cut without. Revell used a grease pencil to mark off #28 from the parts list on the kits - new instructions were on the way, but they wanted to use up the old batch first. Later issues do not list this part or show it on the assembly diagram. Revell's first aircraft carrier model from 1954. Excellent kit of a straight-deck Midway class ship in the near original configuration. Features heavy AA battery and an airwing of F4U Corsairs, F9F Cougars, AD-6 Skyraiders and a helicopter that may be a HUP. Has correct hardbox in very good condition. Inside, the kit is molded in the correct glossy light gray plastic. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals, flags and instructions. | |||

![]() D-558-2 Skyrocket Pre 'S' Kit with Early One-Piece Stand Arm Design Exc++++ Injection Molded old
| 1954 first issue pre-'S' hardbox in excellent condtion. Classic artwork by Richard Kishady. This kit is the true first issue which was released with the one-piece 'Revelving' stand arm. The arm proved to be too brittle in use and Revell quickly changed the design to the two-piece stand arm. This kit has the correct instructions showing the one-piece arm. Molded in correct high-gloss white plastic and clear plastic. Kit features optional position landing gear and cockpit hatch, boarding ladder and pilot in the boxart pose. Never started. Inside the kit is as new with all the small parts still sealed in the factory 'crinkle' bag. All other parts have been inventoried complete with decals and instructions in like-new condition. | |||

| 1955 first issue in the 'S' hardbox. Fantastic early artwork in exceptional condition. Color and gloss are like new and all four corners are solid with no repairs. This kit contains the true first issue one piece stand arm to the Revelving base. In practice, this arm was too brittle and weak and broke very easily. Revell was quick to replace it it and change the instructions accordingly. The new arm has two parts and continued in production until about 1960. This kit also has the correct 1st issue instructions showing the one piece arm. Molded in the correct high gloss silver and clear. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions, which are also as new. | |||
