Lockheed F-94C Starfire Interceptor Pre 'S' Kit Exc++++ Injection Molded old | ||
| 1954 Pre-S issue. This is the third issue. The first issue was in the simple one-piece box and Revell quickly converted to this two-piece box as it was much more durable and a full-color lithographed 'slick' could be used. For the second issue, Revell added rivet and raised panel line detail as well as landing gear, and went to this box and H210-79 kit number. The famous 'Globe' clear stand was added, but the 2nd issue has the rare one piece stand arm and the instructions reflecting that. The 3rd issue (this kit) is identical to the 2nd issue except that the 'Globe' stand was changed to the sturdy 3 piece arm version. The model has never been started. The parts are either still in the factory sealed bag or have been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. | |||

Molded in a high gloss silver (some were molded in dark salmon pink) and clear. Includes display stand. The kit has never been started. Super Cadet Flying Model Airplane Kit VG++ Wood old | ||
| Big 1/12 scale model with a 35 inch wingspan. Originally designed as a gas powered model for free flight or control line, or can be converted to electric power and modern RC (radio control) gear. Features rubber wheels, covering material, clear windows, full size plans, formed wire parts, full size plans, die cut balsa and plywood parts and more. The model has not been started. The parts are either in factory sealed bag(s) or inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions. Berkeley is a very famous manufacture of flying model kits from the Golden Age of flying aviation, about 1932-1954. Founded in 1933 by William Effinger, the company was quite progressive in producing quality kits - it was likely the Berkeley 'Buccaneer' was the first gas powered model in kit form. In the later 1930s, Effinger acquired the services of a very talented Henry Struck. Struck went on to design numerous award-winning kits under the Berkeley name. Berkeley weathered the post WWII recession and emerged as a major kit producer in the late 1940 and 1950s. These were great years for Berkeley and they produced some incredible and large kits. The company went bankrupt in about 1960 however. Fox engines (Duke Fox) bought the company and released the kits alongside his own FOX models and engines. This arrangement did not last, and in the early 1960s the Berkeley name disappeared from hobby shop shelves. | |||

AMD Mercure (Mercury) 100 Airliner 'Air Inter' Sealed Mint Injection Molded old | ||
| Still factory sealed. Rare model in exceptional condition. KVZ was the logo used by this East German kit manufacture from 1969 to 1973. During this time, some fantastic Cold War kits were produced of Russian Aeroflot and Warsaw Pac Airliners as well as Military Helicopters and Aircraft. This is the large scale (1/100) Mercure in Air Inter markings. The Mercury airliner was the result of a Dassault marketing study in the late 1960s that said that the market would evolve for a short ranged jet aircraft with 130 to 160 seats. The first prototype flew in May of 1971. The kit is molded in gloss white, clear, black and silver. Mold quality is very good and details are raised and recessed. | |||
