| Early pre- Mig-15 Soviet jet fighter that also saw extensive service in the Warsaw Pac countries. Very much a pilot's airplane, the Yak-23 was well liked and advanced at the time. It was also the first Soviet fighter with an ejection seat. Nicely molded kit with very fine raised panel lines. Contains decals for all three aircraft. The model as never been started. The parts are either still in the factory sealed bag or have been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. | |||

Features folding wings, interior detail, canopy molded in the correct five different sections for optional positions, two position bomb bay doors, internal bomb load and external drop tanks and wing mounted missiles.This kit is from Airfix molds and is one of the MPC 'Bonus' features series. Dates from the late 1960s/early 1970s and includes custom and stock decals as well as the clear modular display stand. Note that this issue still has 'Craft Master' under the MPC logo. Before this, MPC was marketing Airfix kits under the Craftmaster name in the USA. This continued for several issues and was finally discontinued although MPC continued to distribute Airfix and their own models. | |||
