| This kit includes a bonus scale set of FH Wheels 3.5" by 10mm stainless steel spoke wheels and rubber tires. Minutely detailed and perfect for this kit. They have never been used and are as new. The kit is the very rare and large 1/8 scale museum quality kit. The four aircraft in this series (DR-1, Wright Flyer, Sopwith Camel and SE-5 Scout) are widely considered to be the finest model aircraft ever produced. This kit duplicates the classic DR-1 using many of the original material in a near perfect representation of the inner structure of the aircraft. There are 857 parts made from die-cut plywood, Japanese cypress, cast soft metal, brass, aluminum, rubber, injection molded plastic and many other materials. The wingspan is 838mm (33 inches) when assembled. The engineering of the kit is world-class right down to the assembly plans. This kit has never been started. All parts are still sealed in the factory bags. This kit was packed very carefully from the factory and all special internal boxes and inserts are included and in mint condition.
