TWA Airliner Gift Set - DC-3 and Super G Constellation Fair+ Injection Molded old | ||
| 1957 first and only issue of this rare Monogram Gift set. While Revell was very prolific with gift sets in the 1950s, Monogram was very restrained, issuing very few and then only once. This hardbox is intact but has water damage on one short side, and water stains on the left top (as shown) with the stains carrying down the long sides. Inside, the kit has the correct cardboard divider. The DC-3 is 1/90 scale and features optional position cabin door, rotating propellers and wheels, pilot, copilot, hostess and passenger figures and colorful TWA decals. The Super G Constellation is 1/131 scale and features two hostesses, two loading ramps, tip tanks, battery truck and full TWA decals. The Constellation decals are intact, but have water stains on the right side. The models has not been started. Both models are inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. | |||

Grumman Gulfhawk (F3F) VG Injection Molded old | ||
| First issue 'Four Star" kit dated 1960. This airplane is a civil F3F that was flown for Gulf Oil by the famous stunt pilot Al Williams. The kit has several action features: When you pull the prop outward and rotate it CCW, the landing gear retracts. Pull it outward and rotate it CW, and the gear extends. Push the prop in, and it freewheels as normal. Kit features a movable control surfaces, highly detailed cockpit, full decals including striping, sliding canopy, rigging material and instructions for rigging and is molded in clear, orange and silver. Never started. Factory bag sealed or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. | |||

| The first operational jet fighter for the USA. F-80s played key rolls in the Berlin Airlift and the Korean War. The two seater (available as a Hawk kit) was used as a trainer long after the Shooting Star left service. Very well detailed model has optional parts to be built as a fighter-bomber or fighter-interceptor. Includes full cockpit, detailed gun bay with removable cover and the rear fuselage comes off (dolly included) to reveal the detailed engine. Never started and 100% complete. Very colorful markings in this 1977 release. Box is only 'Good' but the kit inside is as new. | |||
