Dated 1967. Large and well detailed 1/48 scale kit. Can be built with full sails, without sails or with masts stowed. This model depicts a junk built by USA and South Viet Nam naval officers. These junks were used for Coastal Surveillance and patrol. Heavily armed, there were ideal for inspection and interdiction duty. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. The box displays 'good' but is only graded 'fair' because a 3" x 2.5" section of the long lower side is cut away and missing.

Very rare and dated 1963. First and only Four-Star issue of this rare accessory for customizing and of Monogram's large 1/8 car kits or any other larger car kit. Includes beautifully chromed parts in mint condition, a flexible drive belt and excellent instructions. Never started and complete; the parts are still wrapped in the original factory packing tissue. The clear cellophane window on the back is in mint condition but the box is only 'good-' due to the damage shown on the left side. The chrome plating is in 'factory-new' condition. In an attempt to make the superb but very expensive 1/8 car molds pay off, Monogram issued some parts separately as accessories for any larger car models. The entire line came out in 1963 and consisted of AK201-59 Six Carb Assembly, AK202-59 Oval Gas Tank, AK203-79 Drag Race Set, AK204-79 GMC Blower Set, AK205-79 Chrome Wheel Set, AK206-100 White Wall Drag Slicks and AK207-79 White Wall Tires. Sales were very weak because all of the 1/8 scale car kits were very expensive for that time, so and the line was discontinued.

Very rare, large-scale model of a 1938 US Navy Fleet submarine and probably the largest kit every made of this subject. This was originally a solid pre-carved hull kit; however, the war effort resulted in this being a wood-covered bulkhead and stringer hollow kit. Includes printed wood frames, factory-cut strip wood and wood planking strips, bow and stern blocks, a factory sealed wax paper bag of smaller parts, full size plans, two sealed envelopes of Casco Powdered Casein glue, sandpaper and two large sheets: one is the full size plans in excellent condition and the other is a large sheet explaining and illustrating the wartime hull construction. It also includes many patterns and templates to aid in carving the bow and stern blocks. The instructions have plans and text with detail drawings down the rigging details. The kit has never been started. The small parts are still factory sealed. The larger parts were never sealed and have been inventoried complete. Includes all paperwork.
