Spanish Galleon - Warship of the Spanish Armada 1588 Exc++ Injection Molded old | ||
| 1974 issue. Measures 13.5 inches long when assembled. As with most Revell ship kits, this model is well molded and highly detailed. Includes pre-formed billowing vac sails and pre-formed plastic ratlines, complete deck fittings with cannons, five crew members, colorful decals, color flag sheet, tan running and black standing rigging material, very detailed step-by-step simple and detailed rigging instructions and more. The model has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. NOTE: one very small part is gray instead of tan. The part is correct for this kit but is from an earlier issue. | |||

Chrysler Slant Six Cutaway Motorized 1/4 Scale Engine (Slant 6) Fair++ Injection Molded old | ||
| From 1961. First issue of this very rare kit. Large 1/4 scale. Features break-away block sections 'so you can see what it does and why' - each engine part really moves like the real engine - spark plugs 'fire' (flashing lights) - motorized full engine action - can be torn down and rebuilt just like a real engine. Metal screwdriver, nuts, bolts, valve springs and electric motor are included, as well as full instructions. Inside, the cardboard divider is present and the decals, Master Modeler Application, MM trading stamp and booklet 'The Story of the Internal Combustion Engine' are included. Correctly molded in four colors - black, red, silver and gray. The kit has never been started. The gray parts are still sealed in their original factory bag. All small metal parts (contacts, springs), screwdriver, motor and light bulbs are factory sealed as well. The black and silver parts bag was opened and it has been inventoried 100% complete. The red parts bag had cuts in it, so it was also inventoried 100% complete. Although complete, this kit has the several of the typical broken piston rings. The oil pan has a closed crack. The box top has good color, four solid corners and no repairs but has heavy creases and heavy corner/edge wear as shown. There are no tape, price tags or tape/tag marks. | |||

CVB-41 USS Midway Aircraft Carrier (Straight Deck) VG Injection Molded old | ||
| 1974 issue. Hard to find kit of the last WWII carrier class. Has John Steele artwork from the 'Picture Fleet' series. Nicely done full hull model features detailed island, 26 aircraft including Skyraiders, Crosairs, Cougars and helicopters, nicely engraved flight deck, stand, decals and flags. The kit has never been started. The factory sealed bag is still factory sealed. The 'tree' with the hull was never factory sealed and it has been inventoried complete including all parts plus the decals and instructions. Although designed for the Pacific battles, the Midway and her sisters did not see service in WWII. The Midway was the first surface ship to launch a ballistic missile. She and her sisters served proudly in the post-war years until replaced by the super-carriers. | |||

SS Oriana Motorized - P&O Orient Ocean Liner - Master Modelers Kit Good+++ Injection Molded old | ||
| Very rare motorized kit from 1961. First and only issue. The hardbox includes the Master Modelers logo. The kit is very nicely detailed and 20 inches long when assembled. It includes the electric motor and all hardware, brass contacts and gears required for motorization. Inside, the kit is as new. All parts, motorizing kit, and paperwork are still sealed in the factory bag. This kit was one in an entire series of motorized kits that Revell issued in 1960, 61 and 62. Mold modification were made to these kits for the series- USS Arizona, USS Coral Sea, Scissors Bridge, Sherman Tank, Sport Fisherman, PT-212, Austin Healey , Corvette, Long Beach Tugboat, Robert E Lee, Allison Turbo-Prop Engine and Ford Ranchero. This is not a complete list. The reason for the discontinuation of the kits is not known. Contributing factors may have included the high selling price or returns issues. | |||

BB-38 USS Pennsylvania Battleship Exc+ Injection Molded old | ||
| 1961 Sea Power hardbox release. Rare kit of the Arizona's sister ship. The Pennsylvania was in dry-dock during the December 7th Pearl Harbor attack and survived with minimal damage. She was rebuilt and saw significant action in the Pacific in WWII, steaming over 150,000 miles from 1941 to 1945. It is thought that she may have fired more ammunition than any ship in history. She never once reported 'Not Ready' for any operation or need. After being used as a nuclear test ship at Bikini, she was towed to Kwajalein and sunk. Never started. Inventoried complete with all parts, decals, flag sheet and instructions. | |||
