| Highly detailed kit with 870 parts and three large sheets of billowing sails. The 'Le Glorieux' was a French ship laid down in 1770. She is unique in that her lower hull was sheathed with coppers, a practice that did not take hold till much later. In 1779, she sailed with the Comte d'Estaing squadron, or the American Squadron. She was also part of the Blue Fleet with the flagship La Couronne. Never started. Factory sealed bag or complete with all parts, sails and instructions. Sails have typical dents and wear from age and being in the box so long. | |||
