	Very high quality Globe kit from the 'Golden Age' of HO Craftsman kits. I have always considered Globe as one of the 'Cadillac' metal kit manufacture for their use of crisply embossed brass or steel and prototype factory paint and markings. This kit is a fine example. Features all steel sides, ends and roof with all parts completely and beautifully painted and marked as required, wooden floor, metal underframe beam and supports, other brass and steel details, metal trucks with real springs and full instructions/plans. The kit has never been started. The small parts are still sealed in the factory bags and the parts that were not sealed have been inventoried complete with the instructions/plans. 	1/87 Athearn MKT 50 Foot Auto Box Car - Metal HO Craftsman Kit Exc Metal old			$42
	In the 1930s and especially during the 40s/early 50s there was a revolution in model railroading: high quality kits became available for the first time. Before this, there were few standard gauges and most railroads were scratch built to any gauge the collector desired. This kit is a classic Athearn model from that era. These kits build very realistic models because parts that are metal on the real box car are metal in the kit; same for the wooden parts. All sides are factory painted and decorated the correct colors, leaving very little painting. Includes wooden floor, metal roof and car ends as well as opening doors, metal underside and detail fittings such as AB brake set, brake wheel, etc. These make great stand alone models or high-quality rolling stock for your line. The kit has not been started. All small parts are still in factory sealed bags and all other parts have been inventoried complete with the car sides in as new condition.

	1/87 #805 Balboa-Katsumi Brass Southern Pacific - Streamliner 'Coast Daylight' Train Cars - Baggage Mail / Pullman Sleeper / Dining / Vista Dome / Observation VG++ Metal old			$625
	Brass hand crafted and painted Japanese HO train from Balboa Katsumi Scale Models. The original Katsumi blue hardbox has some wear but is solid and 'very good++'. Inside, this set is in investment grade condition. It is rare to fine this complete set available and in factory-new condition. The set consists of a Baggage Mail Car, Pullman Sleeping Car, Dining Car, Vista Dome Coach and an Observation Car. All cars are internally lit. The original foam rubber and factory sealed coupler pockets are included, as well as coach seating kits sealed in the original bags. The paint is all factory and each car is as new. All cars are still protected in the original clear plastic sleeves. It would be difficult to find a better set. Postal insurance will be required.

	1/87 #4 Comet New York Central Lines M.D.T. Wood Sheathed Refrigerator (Wooden Billboard Reefer) - HO Craftsman Kit with Sprung Metal Trucks Exc Wood old			$44
	Comet was a very famous manufacture of flying stick and tissue as well as solid aircraft models. What is less well known is that Comet produced HO equipment during the HO boom of the late 1930s/1940s. This is an excellent kit in an early box from the 1930s with plans drawn by the famous model designer Fred Schlienz. The kit features heavy bristol board sides and car ends that are completely factory decorated for New York Central lines in red, blue, white and black, precut and milled wooden roof, underside and frame, metal ladders, grab irons, steps, brake handle and other small parts, wooden pre-carved brake cylinder, metal sprung trucks and more. Features very well drawn full size plans. This kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions.

Of the early metal box car kits, these are my favorites, with their popularity witnessed by the various reissues through the years. Almost all the parts that are metal on the actual box car are metal on the model. This and the factory paint, lettering and decoration makes these kits difficult to beat for scale appearance. Features stamped steel body, car ends and roof that are factory painted, lettered and decorated, steel ladders, doors, door guides and brake platform, cast metal running boards, bolsters, coupler pockets and three piece brake detail, stamped metal undercarriage beam with fine cross bearers, corner steps, grab irons and more. Includes trucks. The factory paint is excellent, and I have packed it so it will not be damaged in shipment. Due to the high degree of factory finishing, the only painting required for this kit is the interior floor and underside. The kit has never been started. The small parts are still in factory sealed envelopes and all other parts have been inventoried complete including instructions. 	HO #HO-11 La Belle 1886 50' Open Platform Truss Rod Wood Coach - HO Scale Wood Craftsman Kit With Interior Details VG Wood old			$42
	This kit includes a sealed bag of aftermarket wooden coach seats and a cast metal toilet and sink. During the golden era of realistic train models, La Belle Woodworking Company created perhaps the very finest scale kits of early American passenger equipment. The kit features die cut hardwood parts (no balsa) such as pre-cut and scribed sides with all windows and doors factory cut, car ends done in the same fashion, carved clerestory roof, green-tinted clear clerestory window material, full underside details, metal details, building instructions and full size plans. I have seen these models built and they look identical to the real prototypes. NOTE: the car sides have been built. Quality of construction is 'excellent' but not absolutely perfect (not mint). There is no other assembly. The kit is complete with all parts and plans. 	Includes real sprung metal trucks. Roundhouse (by Model Die Casting) was a famous manufacture of HO Craftsman kits in the 1940s/1950s. This is one of their all- metal car kits. Very well detailed and crisply cast with little or no flash. Molded in details are superb. Features all metal one piece roof, three piece roof walk, car ends, floor and undercarriage, factory painted and lettered sides for Great Northern (yellow overal with colorful GN Logo), three piece brake set, couplers, pocket doors, bushings, screws as needed, grab irons, full instructions with drawings and more. The prepainted sides are excellent. The roof, floor, ends, doors and car sides are very flat and straight for easy assembly. The kit has never been started. 	Includes real sprung metal trucks. Roundhouse (by Model Die Casting) was a famous manufacture of HO Craftsman kits in the 1940s/1950s. This is one of their all- metal car kits. Very well detailed and crisply cast with little or no flash. Molded in details are superb. Features all metal one piece roof, three piece roof walk, car ends, floor and undercarriage, factory painted and lettered sides for Jersey Central (green and gold), three piece brake set, couplers, pocket doors, bushings, screws as needed, grab irons, full instructions with drawings and more. The prepainted sides are very good, but the gold has some fading (possibly a factory flaw). (See Photo, left) The roof, floor, ends, doors and car sides are very flat and straight for easy assembly. 	Includes working sprung metal trucks. Roundhouse (by Model Die Casting) was a famous manufacture of HO Craftsman kits in the 1940s/1950s. This is one of their all- metal car kits. Very well detailed and crisply cast with little or no flash. Molded in details are superb. Features all metal one piece floor, car ends, one piece hopper, factory painted and lettered sides for GN, brake set, couplers, pocket doors, bushings, screws as needed, full instructions with drawings and more. The prepainted sides are as new and were only removed to take this photograph. The car ends, hopper and floor are very straight for easy assembly. They are not warped, as is common with some all metal kits. The kit has never been started. Many parts are still factory sealed - those that were not factory sealed have been inventoried complete including instructions.
