Monogram Boeing B-52 Stratofortress with Jet Sound, 1/72, PA215

First issue dated 1968 of this legendary kit that features realistic 'Jet Sound.' Model is in fantastic collector condition. The box has very good color and four good corners. There is general wear as shown and the same on the sides with tape residue marks on the long sides. When you open the box, the yellow bordered cardboard with cellophane insert is still present. Beneath it the white printed cardboard display presentation is still present, in 'new' condition and still contains a mint tube of 'Monoglue' plastic cement. The instructions, B-52 Book and decals are present and in 'excellent' condition. Well detailed with 207 parts. Features crew of three and cockpit, elevating and traversing rear turret, opening and closing bomb bay doors, operating wing flaps, operating spoilers, optional position entry hatch and landing gear, and optional parts to display one nacelle open to show the jet engine. The kit has never been started. The motor and hardware are still in the factory sealed bag. The plastic parts, which were never factory sealed, have been inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The Albatross was the primary sea rescue aircraft of the Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Service, a branch of MAC - Military Airlift Command. Operational service began in 1947 and Hu-16s saw wartime action in Vietnam.

Exceptional 1968 first issue in wonderful condition. The box is straight and square with perfect color and gloss, no fading and no price tags. The only flaws are minor light wear as shown and one closed split on a corner. Inside, this kit is still factory sealed. Monogram only sealed this kit from the inside by gluing on the yellow cardboard and clear cello. It was intended for the potential buyer to lift off the box top where they would be greeted with a beautiful display of Monogram workmanship and model design neatly displayed on a cardboard background. All internals are still mint and you can see. Contains 207 parts. Very nicely detailed. Features crew of three, detailed cockpit, elevating and traversing rear turret, opening and closing bomb bay doors, operating wing flaps, operating spoilers, optional position entry hatch and landing gear, and optional parts to display one nacelle open to show the jet engine.

P-6 variants were in production for 10 years, a remarkable feat in a time when airframe/power plant technology was changing rapidly. Includes colorful markings from the 17th Pursuit Squadron in early 1930s, based at Selfridge Field, Michigan.

Designed for minimal painting if you wish- the F-16s are already molded in white with clear (w/correct tint) canopies. The decals include all the Tbird designs. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. Decals are 'near mint.'
