Very rare and dated 1963. First and only Four-Star issue of this rare accessory for customizing and of Monogram's large 1/8 car kits or any other larger car kit. The beautifully chromed parts in mint condition and includes a Weiand manifold, six Stromberg carbs, six air cleaners, carb linkage & water outlet and excellent instructions. Never started and complete. The parts are still wrapped in the original factory tissue paper. The clear cellophane window on the back is in mint condition. In an attempt to make the superb but very expensive 1/8 car molds pay off, Monogram issued some parts separately as accessories for any larger car models. The entire line came out in 1963 and consisted of AK201-59 Six Carb Assembly, AK202-59 Oval Gas Tank, AK203-79 Drag Race Set, AK204-79 GMC Blower Set, AK205-79 Chrome Wheel Set, AK206-100 White Wall Drag Slicks and AK207-79 White Wall Tires. Sales were very weak because all of the 1/8 scale car kits were very expensive for that time, so and the line was discontinued.

Still factory sealed but the seal is brittle and has numerous splits. This model is one of a very popular and collectible series that Hubley issue in the 1960s or early '70s It is very well detailed with 143 pieces and features highly detailed cast-metal body, chassis, hood, engine and other detail parts with injection molded details, clear parts, and a large tree of chrome plated parts, full rolling chassis build-up just like the real car with excellent engine detail, removable hood, complete exhaust and suspension, working steering, flexible radiator hoses, rubber tires, chrome spoke wheels, working worm-gear steering, full interior detail with very clear thin windshields and special interior side panels. In the 1930s Packard was the style leader in America and a beautiful, fast status symbol. Packards were not the most expensive, but were the most desired cars. The 1930s Packards are seen as the high point of the brand.

Rare 1956 first issue that includes both kits - the High Speed Tractor and the Long Tom 155mm gun. The box has excellent color and gloss but has edge and general wear and some isolated and light age foxing. This model has many working features - the tractor has movable tracks and working bogies, rotating and elevating machine gun, driver and interior details. The gun can be stowed for transport with the M-4 and all extra gear to do this correctly is supplied. The Long Tom features and elevating barrel, moving limbers and detailed mechanism. Never started and still as it came from the factory - the 155mm parts are in the factory sealed bags and the tractor parts were never factory sealed. Very early Berkeley kit. This Helldiver features 24 inch wingspan, unique 'Automatic Bomb-Release During Flight', turned balsa cowl, sheets of high-quality printwood, pre-cut stringers and spars, fully formed wheels & thrust button, formed metal propeller shaft/rubber hook, sealed tube of wood glue, clear material for the canopy, metal stock as required, a factory sealed wax bag of hardware, printed color insignia, two colors of covering tissue (orange and silver) and more. Includes full-size plans & instructions. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes insignia and plans. Berkeley is a very famous manufacturer of flying model kits from the Golden Age of flying aviation, about 1932-1954. Founded in 1933 by William Effinger, the company was quite progressive in producing quality kits - it was likely the Berkeley 'Buccaneer' was the first gas powered model in kit form. In the later 1930s, Effinger acquired the services of a very talented Henry Struck. Struck went on to design numerous award-winning kits under the Berkeley name. Berkeley weathered the post WWII recession and emerged as a major kit producer in the late 1940 and 1950s. These were great years for Berkeley and they produced some incredible and large kits. The company went bankrupt in about 1960 however. Fox engines (Duke Fox) bought the company and released the kits alongside his own FOX models and engines. This arrangement did not last, and in the early 1960s the Berkeley name disappeared from hobby shop shelves.

2004 issue from the original 1950s 'S' kit. Very well detailed kit with 83 parts. Features one piece hull, detailed deck and superstructure, 12.5cm cannon, 20mm twin anti-aircraft guns, life rafts, detailed masts, cargo booms, 15 very nicely molded landing craft, flag sheet and decals for the Montrose, Randall and full markings for the landing craft. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. The USS Montrose was on of 57 Haskell Class Attack Transports built for service in and immediately after WWII. The ships were designed to carry troops close to the beachheads, transfer them to landing barges (carried on board) and to supervise the landing operations. Her length was 455 feet and she could handle 1,560 troops and carry 3000 tons of equipment.

Rare. Late 1950s hardbox Picture Gallery Issue. The hard-to-find 'Picture Gallery' series was Hawk's first move away from the thin one piece boxes and to full color artwork. The artist doing this early work fell sick and Hawk needed the artwork immediately, hence the short run. Bill Campbell was immediately contacted and did all of the box art for Hawk until Tom Morgan entered the picture. Molded in silver and clear plastic. Never started. Very rare first issue from 1956 with the 'Northern Lights' rectangular logo. This logo was only used one year. This famous model is also part of the '12 O'Clock High' B-17 Set. Features many clear windows and clear turret 'blisters', nose turret and tail guns, landing gear, rotating propellers and a display stand. Inside, the kit is 100% correct for a first issue. It includes the early clear West Hempstead rectangular stand, instructions showing this stand and the correct decal sheet with no stand decal. Molded in gloss dark green and clear. This kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. Decals are in 'excellent+' condition and the instructions are near mint. Even includes the original factory tissue packing paper. Please NOTE that this is a later 1956 release since the instructions, while still showing the old rectangle stand, have the famous fighters logo. Aurora began putting 'new logo' instructions into kits before the end of 1956.

1963 hardbox issue. This model features specially modified Lancaster fuselage with Dam Buster bomb and release mechanism, retractable anding gear, rotating propellers and wheels, working control surfaces and more. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The Dam Busters squadron was famous for their daring raids on three German dams on May 16, 1943. Carrying the special Barnes Wallis-designed bombs, the Lancasters flew very low over the water in the face of heavy flak to drop the rotating bombs perfectly. Many did not return. The bombs did perform as promised, first skipping over the water, hitting the dam, then rolling down 30 feet before exploding with tremendous force. In an airburst, these bombs would not have damaged the dams, but since water is incompressible, the dams were breached.
