| Very rare early 1950s issue. Unusual narrow height Pre 'S' box with full artwork. The second version of this kit shared the same part number but is in a taller box and has simplified artwork. Small parts are still in a factory cello bag, but the bag has split (the kit is complete, however). Has early 1st issue stand with a one-piece stand arm (three prongs at the top). It has the correct instructions showing this early stand. Never started. 100% inventoried complete with all parts/decals and instructions present. | |||

| Rare 1954 issue. Has early 1st issue stand with a one-piece stand arm (three prongs at the top). The instructions are correct as well and show this early stand. The small parts are still in the krinkle bag, but the bag was split - so I inventoried the kit and returned them to the bag and sealed it in a zip-lock. | |||

| Rare first issue with the 1.25 inch high pre-'S' hardbox vs. the later standard size 1.4 inch box. This kit has the correct short-lived 1st issue 2 piece stand as opposed to the later standard 4 piece stand. The early stand with this kit has a base and an arm - the arm has three prongs. This stand was discontinued shortly after introduction as it broke very easily. Inside, the kit is mint. The small parts still sealed in factory cello bag. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. | |||

| One of the first three Revell aircraft molds issued in 1953. This kit is correct with no rivets and no landing gear. Instructions are printed on the back of the box. Complete with the unique stand that was only issued with these three kits and the gift set of these kits. This box is in excellent condition, complete with all end flaps and has not been crushed - usually these thin one-piece boxes are in very bad condition. Box has never been repaired. Lockheed F-94C Starfire Interceptor Pre 'S' Kit Exc++++ Injection Molded old | ||
| 1954 Pre-S issue. This is the third issue. The first issue was in the simple one-piece box and Revell quickly converted to this two-piece box as it was much more durable and a full-color lithographed 'slick' could be used. For the second issue, Revell added rivet and raised panel line detail as well as landing gear, and went to this box and H210-79 kit number. The famous 'Globe' clear stand was added, but the 2nd issue has the rare one piece stand arm and the instructions reflecting that. The 3rd issue (this kit) is identical to the 2nd issue except that the 'Globe' stand was changed to the sturdy 3 piece arm version. The model has never been started. The parts are either still in the factory sealed bag or have been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. | |||

Kits previous to this were marketed from other companies, such as Gowland & Gowland. It is said that the Missouri was the most profitable kit that Revell ever produced.
