| Dramatic Craftmaster artwork of an Il-2M3 attacking train tracks and a locomotive. The legendary Stormovik gave the Germans nothing but trouble on the Eastern Front. Designed as a heavily armed single seat or dual seat attack aircraft, the Stormovik was very difficult to shoot down; even then if the pilot could crash land it, he had an excellent chance of walking away and flying again the next day. Il-2M3s endlessly attacked German forward and rear positions effectively and in large numbers till the end of the war. Never started. The range was about 60 miles. The Bloodhound was launched with four solid rocket boosters.
