The Wellesley was a single engine bomber first flown in 1935. It is famous for a record setting flight in 1938 from Egypt to Australia. The craft was very advanced for its day, and many features found their way into the next famous Vickers aircraft, the Wellington Bomber. This rare kit of this popular personal civil aircraft is from the late 1950s or early 1960s. Includes display stand. The Cellovision window is intact and the trading card is on the back of the box. The Mooney Wee Scotsman had a wingspan of just over 26 feet and excellent performance for that time- a cruising speed of 130 MPH and a range of 420 miles.

The parts that Adams factory sealed are still factory sealed - the white missile parts, the black and silver parts and the smaller olive drab parts. The few parts trees that were never factory sealed have been inventoried and NOTE: missing (1) very small part does not show, #28 retainer (easily made). First issue and fantastic kit with 134 parts. It features almost all the moving features of the real weapon and a crew of five. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. The Skysweeper was a 45 round-per-minute anti-aircraft gun system that was teamed with the Nike Ajax in the late 1950s/early 1960s to defend America against Soviet Attack. The gun system was radar controlled and fully mobile. It could be set up on any terrain and ready to fire in 2 minutes. The unit was considered very advanced and complex at the time; it took army maintenance crews 37 weeks each to train on the system at Aberdeen.
