| Pocher made the finest automobile models ever created. The detail and working parts on these long out-of-production kits is amazing. This kit has 2378 parts of plastic, brass, steel, leather, iron, rubber, copper and more materials. Working features include operating steering, working suspension, lights that operate from the dashboard, leather seats with foam inserts and springs, doors that open and close with operating door latches and handles, windows that raise and lower with the working cranks, the starting handle operates the crankshaft, connecting rods, pistons, V-belts, fan and dynamo and more in the engine. The convertible top operates and much more. This kit has never been started and all parts are sealed in the factory bags. Includes decals and instructions. Recommended for experienced models only. This is the version with most realistic but complex wheel construction. Each wheel is built with well over 100 parts via individual spoke placement. NOTE: During inventory I noted that one small piece of the convertible top frame was broken cleanly off. This piece is included and it is a simple repair. Shipping insurance is required on this kit. | |||

| This is a complex and very highly detailed kit. When properly built, it is a museum quality display. High quality Ambroid kit from the 'Golden Age' of HO Craftsman kits. Ambroid kits were limited release models that are widely considered to be the standard of quality for this style kit. Features all Northeastern Scale Models hardwood lumber. All major parts are fully cut, milled, shaped and ready to assembly. Wood and metal stock is included as needed for details and those need to be cut to length. Includes dual metal-mesh roof walks, a bag of detail parts that is still factory sealed, metal ladders, full color decals with Great Northern decorations and complete lettering, paint guide (Jade Green is the correct color for this model) and full size instructions/plans. | Still factory sealed. In the late 1940s/early 1950s there was a revolution in model railroading: high quality kits became available for the first time. Before this, there were few standard gauges and most railroads were scratch built to any gauge the collector desired. This kit is the Menzies reissue of the classic Athearn kit. These kits build very realistic models because parts that are metal on the real box car are metal in the kit; same for the wooden parts. All sides, doors and roof are fully decorated, leaving very little painting. | Rare. From the late 1950s. Large 1/96 scale kit is molded in the correct gloss silver and clear. Large model with full landing gear and and two colorful BOAC decal sheets. One includes full size vertical stabilizer markings and the other is a very large and extensive sheet with all striping, logos, side windows, flags, registration for six different aircraft and more. The decals are flat and excellent with the original factory wax paper in place. The instructions are excellent also. The four props are still on the factory cardboard holder and have no broken blades. The kit has never been started. NOTE: there is no display stand. Otherwise inventoried with all other parts including decals and instructions. NOTE: one small landing gear door is still present on the sprue but is short shot. | |||
