| Hard to find. Early hardbox issue from the late 1950s/early 1960s. Kit includes both models. The Antoinette was the first plane in the world to attain an altitude of 500 feet, and the Voisin made the first city-to-city powered flight. These are unique and accurate kits. The original internal frame structure and details of the aircraft is built from injection molded plastic. When complete, it is covered with a very strong fabric which is included. The result is a very realistic aircraft. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions. | |||

Focke-Wulf FW-190 - 16 inch Wingspan Rubber Powered Balsa Wood Kit Exc++ Wood old | ||
| One of a very popular 16.5 inch wingspan series of World War 2 kits. Roughly 1970s scale stick and tissue rubber powered flying model. Includes die cut balsa parts, vacuform nose, wheels, plastic propeller, hardware, vacuform canopy, colored tissue, insignia and full size plans with detailed building instructions. The model has not been started. The parts are either in factory sealed bag(s) or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Guillow's founder, Paul K. Guillow, was a WWI naval aviator. In 1926 he began producing wooden model airplane kits. His 'Shelf Models' were some of the earlier non-flying models in production. Guillow's grew during the model boom of the 1930s, and when the Depression hit the hardest, Guillow's responded with lower prices and became one of the low price leaders, frequently advertising in Model Airplane News and other leading publications. During the war, like most manufactures, Guillow's was forced to alternative materials such as cardboard and pine. Guillow's survived the post WWII slump by creating many inexpensive profile flying rubber powered aircraft and gliders in the 1950s (along with North Pacific) which became famous - some are still available today. The stick and tissue lines have been updated with laser cut parts and are still in production as of 2009. | |||

| Includes real sprung metal trucks. Roundhouse (by Model Die Casting) was a famous manufacture of HO Craftsman kits in the 1940s/1950s. This is one of their all- metal car kits. Very well detailed and crisply cast with little or no flash. Molded in details are superb. Features all metal one piece roof, three piece roof walk, car ends, floor and undercarriage, factory painted and lettered sides for Great Northern (yellow overal with colorful GN Logo), three piece brake set, couplers, pocket doors, bushings, screws as needed, grab irons, full instructions with drawings and more. The prepainted sides are excellent. The roof, floor, ends, doors and car sides are very flat and straight for easy assembly. The kit has never been started. Most small parts are still sealed in the factory envelopes. The parts that were not factory sealed have been inventoried complete including instructions. | |||
