This was the last "S" kit issued by Revell. Dated 1959. Kit features opening tandem canopies, moving control surfaces, detailed, removable jet engines and two pilots. As the last "S" kit, it incorporates a critical improvement for the time - recessed panel lines. The entire kit has recessed panel lines and rivet detail-no raised marks. It has an attention to detail that is lacking in many older Pre-S and S kits. Molded in the correct gloss light gray and clear with the "Globe" clear stand. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. NOTE: the box displays better than the 'VG+' grade but has sun fading on one short side - hence the 'very good+' grade.

Rare, first issue dated 1958 with "S" cement logos on the box sides. This is the cut-away Polaris sub with interior that got Revell in hot water with the US Government - the Navy had thought that Revell had breeched security to obtain the details for the model. This one is in exceptional condition with amazing 'mint' color and gloss, for solid corners with no repairs, no price tags or tag marks, no tape or tape marks other than the factory tape marks and no fading. The only flaws are some scuffs (shown at the far right) and a small dent (shown at the upper left). The model was highly detailed for that time will full interior and snap-off starboard hull half and two Polaris missiles that 'fire' using spring power. The kit has never been started. Molded in the correct gloss medium gray, light green and black plastic. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions as well as the special booklet 'The Story of Submarines.'

One of three such Soviet motorized armor plastic model kits released by ITC at the end of the 1950s/early 1960s. The other two are the Rocket Launcher and Personnel Carrier. Includes heavy duty motor and all hardware needed to motorize the tank. Never started: NOTE: kit is missing (1 part #41, a grab iron. The other three are present to help you build one. It is a small grab handle. One bogey wheel pin, #1, is broken but both parts are present. Complete with all other parts, decals, motorizing parts and instructions.
