1/46 #371-259 Aurora
![]() B-26 Martin Maraudeer VG Injection Molded old
| Very rare first issue from the early 1950s. When Aurora moved to the West Hempstead plant, they planned a series of very large scale bombers. All kits released up to this time had been small. Aurora's instincts were correct, and the B-26, B-25 and B-29 were a big sales success. This box art was done by Jim Cox and was only used for about one year, making it very rare. The kit has never been started and is inventoried 100% complete with the original tissue paper, all parts, large clear stand, instructions and decals. | |||
1/54 #145-130 Aurora

1/48 #122-69 Aurora
![]() Boeing F4B-4 NM Injection Molded old
| 1958 issue with fantastic Jo Kotula boxart. The box is in exceptional condition with vibrant colors. This is the Parents' Magazine issue with the seal located in the lower right. Classic 1930s Navy Biplane Fighter. These are famous for the colorful paint jobs of the day. Cowl/Tail/Trim color would vary with the Aircraft Carrier that the group was based on. Each ship-Ranger, Lexington, and Saratoga all had their own colors. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. | |||
1/48 #88-69 Aurora
![]() Jap Zero (Aircraft Carrier Artwork) - Famous Fighters of All Nations Exc- Injection Molded old
| Third issue of the rare Zero from Aurora. First issue was the 59 cent Brooklyn issue, then came the 88-59 'Carrier' issue, then this 'Carrier' issue 88-69. This art was only issued for one year and maybe less. Molded in brilliant high gloss yellow and clear with the correct rectangular clear stand. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and correct decals and instructions. | |||
1/48 #33-98 Aurora
![]() Lockheed F-90 Fighter Exc++ Injection Molded old
| Rare 1/48 scale kit. Hardbox is dated 1958, but the logo tells us that this is a very late 1950 to early 1960s issue since the 'Famous Fighters' is not present in the oval logo but the sunburst still is. This is reissue of one of Aurora's first two kits (F-90 and F9F) which were copies of the Hawk molds. The original issue did not have landing gear and rockets; this issue does and also has the correct triangle two-piece clear base. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts decals and instructions. | |||
1/48 #121-79 Aurora
![]() Boeing P-12E Sealed Mint Injection Molded old
| Still factory sealed but the seal has split. Kit is dated 1958 and is the second issue with the 79 cent price extension and 'Famous Fighters' in the sunburst oval. Features fantastic Jo Kotula artwork. | |||
1/48 #55-59 Aurora
![]() Me-109 Brooklyn Famous Fighters of All Nations (Bf-109) VG++++ Injection Molded old
| Very rare first issue. Of the Brooklyn series, this is usually considered the hardest kit to find. Inside, the kit is 100% correct with no rivet detail, no bombs and no landing gear. The color is the unique first run non-metallic medium red with clear canopy and stand. The stand is the correct square one marked "Brooklyn". The instructions are correct Brooklyn also, and the decals are the proper early "Tatem Company" issue with the swastika. The box grades "Very Good++++". It has four solid corners, no repair, no tears or tape (other than the factory sealing tape). There is general light shelf wear. This kit has never been started. It is either still in the internally sealed factory bag or has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. | |||

1/64 #306 Aurora
![]() US Army Engineers Power Shovel and Transporter VG+++ Injection Molded old
| Very rare factory sealed kit for the advanced Aurora collector. The model came from the first owner of the kit who bought it new. In those days, Aurora sealed kits with two very thin strips of tape on the box top sides extending to the bottom of the box. This box still has those two tape seals intact. The box condition is very good with very nice color and gloss and no price tags. The oval sunburst with 'Famous Fighters' in the boarder dates this kit as about 1957/59. | |||
1/48 #307 Aurora
![]() US Army 8 Inch Howitzer Gun NM- Injection Molded old
| First issue of this rare kit with Jo Kotula artwork. Oval sunburst logo with 'Famous Fighters' in the boarder dates this kit from 1957/59. 1/48 #301 Aurora
![]() M-46 'General Patton' Tank Exc++ Injection Molded old
| Second issue of this classic kit. Although dated 1956, this kit is from 1957 and carries the then-new oval sunburst with 'Famous Fighters' in the boarder. In keeping with a quick and inexpensive change over, the box utilizes the 1956 artwork, but yellows out the 'Northern Lights' rectangle and adds the new oval. Beautiful box with brilliant colors. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. | |||
