| 1972 hardbox issue. Ideal builder kit. This is the modified mold issue which is a more realistic model to build. Includes terrain display base and rigging instructions. Never started. Missing rear windshield, which is a simple flat piece. I have included thick, clear styrene so you can make this part. Otherwise inventoried with all other parts, decals and instructions. NOTE: decals have bug damage. The actual transfers are still undamaged - the bugs only ate the backing paper. Box would grade higher but the top side panel is missing. | |||

| First issue 'Four Star' kit dated 1960. This airplane is a civil F3F that was flown for Gulf Oil by the famous stunt pilot Al Williams. The kit has several action features: When you pull the prop outward and rotate it CCW, the landing gear retracts. Pull it outward and rotate it CW, and the gear extends. Push the prop in, and it freewheels as normal. Kit features a movable control surfaces, highly detailed cockpit, full decals including striping, sliding canopy, rigging material and instructions for rigging and is molded in clear, orange and silver. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and excellent decals and instructions. Box would grade higher than 'good', but there is general wear and tape on the sides, split corners and side tape tears. | |||

The kit itself is the very nicely detailed and molded 1995 Pro Model issue. Features very well detailed cockpit, four piece canopy, excellent intake and exhaust, detailed gear wells, drop tank, weighted tires, two ground figures and superb instructions. Contains decals for 'Star Dust' piloted by Capt. Andrew Reynolds from the 9th Fighter Squadron of the 49th FG or 'Schuftie', piloted by Flt. Lt. Les Jackson of the 7th Sq of the Australian Air Force. This kit is from quality Airfix molds and is one of the MPC issues with custom decals and the unique clear modular display stand. Dates from the late 1960s/early 1970s. Note that this issue still has 'Craft Master' under the MPC logo. Before this, MPC was marketing Airfix kits under the Craftmaster name in the USA. This continued for several issues and was finally discontinued although MPC continued to distribute Airfix and their own models. | |||

Has parts and decals to make -3 or -5 versions. Well molded with raised and recessed detail. Features full interior with crew, optional position canopy, pivoting rear gun, working arresting hood and center line and wing bomb loads. This kit has never been started. NOTE: missing decals. Also includes figures of the pilot, gunner, armorer, LSO (landing signal officer), 4 bombs, bomb cart, and LSO wind screen...almost everything but the carrier deck for a diorama. Never started.
