First issue of this very large 1/12 scale, detailed classic car model with over 230 parts. Features rolling chassis construction like the actual automobile, complete engine, full suspension, driveline and exhaust, opening hood, working steering, full interior with removable convertible top, opening doors, windows that crank up and down with the handles, rubber whitewall tires and more. Molded in gloss deep maroon, clear, red tinted clear, chrome, black and tan plastic. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes instructions.

SALE!! Includes both 100% complete promos in 'good' condition. Both have been in the same adult collection since the very early 1960s. The 1959 Nomad is friction drive with a metal chassis. The two tone finish is all original. There is slight warping, but not much compared to how these usually look. Never played with and the tires show zero wear. The 58 Impala is a roller with a plastic chassis; the make is not listed although it is probably AMT. There is slight warping but not as much as most examples. Both models have been professionally detailed with silver paint - the door handles, lettering, emblems, etc have been very neatly painted. Quality is high enough to easily pass for factory paint.

Dated 1966. The only 1/48 scale kit of this subject. The TFX Project was proposed as a way to save money by having the Air Force and Navy use the same aircraft. The F-111B was tested by the Navy but canceled due to the large size of the aircraft. Good kit for that time with swing wings and retractable landing gear. There has been no assembly but NOTE: the pilots are painted orange. There is no other painting. Inventoried complete with all parts present and includes decals and instructions.

Huge, highly detailed and beautifully molded metal and plastic model kit designed for remote control. Features fully assembled all metal gear box with motors, numerous metal parts in all of the right places for durability, full hardware, fully functioning metal-sprung suspension, separately molded tracks, rotating turret with elevating gun, accessories and much more. Many of the parts are still factory sealed. The ones that are no longer sealed have been inventoried and they are complete and the instructions and decals are included. NOTE: this kit has very neat and minor and neat assembly with 5 parts. The top back hatch and four inside-the-hull retainers have been assembled to the hull to "professional" quality. There is no other assembly. The original owner made a professional quality rear panel (see lowest photo) that is a correct Sherman variant and professionally glued it to the back (apparently with CA glue, so you can remove it if you wish.

Dated 1961. Rare larger-scale Aurora kit molded in white and clear with recessed control surface and door lines. Features clear cockpit windshield, full landing gear and a large clear 'Triangle World' stand. The kit has not been started. NOTE: missing nose gear door. This part is easily made from plastic stock, or is not needed if the kit if built in the 'gear up' configuration. Inventoried with all other parts and excellent decals and instructions. The Convair 880 and it's near sister 990 were very high performance airliners. Unfortunately they did not find favor with commercial operators. Only 65 880s were produced from 1959 to 1962. The aircraft was designed to be smaller and faster than the DC-8 and 707 - this market did not develop, however, and if it did it could have been served with less expensive designs. The 990 was a larger and faster (mach .91) airliner, but it failed to meet it's range criteria for east to west crossings of the USA. As a result, only 37 were made. Interestingly enough, several 990s continued to be operated by private owners and NASA operated two 990s for decades after the last 990 was phased out of commercial service.

Very rare model from 1958 and in stunning 'mint' factory-fresh condition inside and out. From ex-Best molds. Aurora purchased the Best molds for the Indianapolis 500 Winners and made one issue. Kit is molded in gloss white with real rubber tires, spoked wheels and includes a crew of two and some interior detail. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions; even includes the original factory tissue packing paper. Kelly Petillo was the driver of the Gilmore Special in 1935 and won the day with a record breaking speed of 106.865 mph over the 200 laps. This is noteworthy because all cars were slowed by the yellow flag due to light drizzle during the first part of the race. It is even more amazing when you consider that the fuel allowance was only 42.5 gallons per car, which made it necessary to average over 11.7 miles per gallon for 500 miles in racing conditions!
