Early testbed trainer derived from the Avro 707 for the Vulcan Bomber project. This is the second prototype with various enhancements including a longer nose, new cockpit canopy, 51 degree wing sweep and a longer nose wheel leg to change the wing angle of incidence for landing and take off. Very high quality vac kit. Highly detailed moldings, full decals, and metal seat, struts, wheels and other parts. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

The only large-scale model of the record-setting Ocean Liner from the United States Lines. From ex-ITC / Ideal Molds. Features a 28 inch long one-piece hull, solid hardwood display base and a large decal sheet. The kit has never been started. All the small parts are still in the factory sealed bags. The few larger parts (hull and deck trees) that were not internally sealed have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions. The SS United States was the fastest ocean liner ever built; her speed was legendary. She was constructed primarily of welded aluminum to save weight. She handily took the 'Blue Ribband' shortly after entering service.

Sensational 'S' action model dated 1958. This is the first issue with the -198 price extension and 'S' Cement logos on the long box sides. The 1960 issue, H281-200, is much more common and lacks the 'S' logos. Unique large scale kit includes many operational features. Landing gear and flaps retract and extend when canopy is opened and closed. Removable detailed engine and movable control surfaces. Weapons bay opens to show AIM-4 Falcon missiles. Long after this kit stopped being a big seller in the USA, it found favor in Japan, where at least two issues were made in the 1960s and early 1970s. Molded in silver and clear. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Decals and instructions are 'excellent' with typical yellowing as the only flaw.

1985 issue. Possibly from Otaki molds. Very nice quality kit with all recessed panel lines. Includes colorful Airbus lettering and full color stripes as shown on the box photo. The kit has never been started. The small parts are still in the internal factory sealed bag; the large parts are not sealed and have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions. The Guppy is basically a powered aluminum balloon. It has tremendous capacity and loads through the swing-away nose. The first Guppy was built to haul Saturn V parts from California to Florida in order to avoid shipping delays via ships going through the Panama Canal. All Guppy aircraft are built from retired Boeing Stratocruisers. The pistons were replaced with more powerful turbo-props, and the Super Guppy is only 52 mph slower than the Stratocruiser.

This kit comes with Western decals, clear cockpit and side windows, detailed engine pods and optional position landing gear. McDonnell-Douglas and Lockheed both produced tri-jets for an over-estimated market, which lead to neither design being very financially successful.

Revell DC-7 United Flight 707 Airport Set - 'S' Kit, 1/122, H220-198

Rare and very desirable kit from 1955. Contains the colorful United DC-7 and all the accessories shown on the box top - Texaco fuel truck, boarding stairs, United Red Carpet, stanchions, tow tractor with tow bar, baggage truck with three baggage carts and figures for the pilot, refueler, 'runway' model, stewardess, camera man and two drivers for the tow and baggage tractors. The box has very good color a shown, but has general wear on the top, and on the sides two taped corners and lithograph damage in two spots caused from tape, both measuring 1" to 1.25". Inside, it contains the original 'tray' for the large parts, the correct fold-out instructions with the color United Route Map on the back and the correct early stand arm. NOTE: four airport parts (#33 truck bottom and (3) #39 baggage cart sides) have glue on the back sides. They have not been assembled, but the glue is present. There is no glue on the sides that show. No other glue is present, no parts have been assembled and nothing has been painted. One prop blade is broke at the hub but the blade is present. NOTE: the decals have some bug damage to the backing paper. There is no damage to the actual transfers. The model has been inventoried 100% complete with all airplane and airport parts, decals, United 'Carpet', stand and instructions. Shipping insurance is required for this kit.

Fantastic factory sealed investment-condition box. 1964 issue with 'Famous Fighters' in the border of the oval sunburst. The 'Woodwards' department store price tag is still on the kit. This issues has a small sticker on both short ends with '150' typed on it. These small stickers cover up the '175' price extension and were often done by manufacturers to just change prices (in place of ordering new boxes).

Second release dated 1959. Has sunburst inside the 'Famous Fighters' Aurora oval logo. Incredible artwork with brilliant colors. Investment grade condition with no fading, stains, stickers, tape or any marks. Box have very light edge wear as the only flaw. Classic 1930s Navy Biplane Fighter that is still famous for their colorful paint jobs at that that time. Cowl, tail and trim color would vary with the Aircraft Carrier (Ranger, Lexington or Saratoga) that the group was based on and the aircraft's position in the flight formation. Rare limited issue. Hardbox is dated 1965. Issued as a promotion with the famous TV show "12 O'Clock High," which centered on the exploits of USAAF B-17s flying over Hitler's Germany. The box is exceptional with great color and gloss, four solid corners, no repairs, no price tags or tape (or marks from either). Flaws include very light edge and general wear and a very slight 'crunch' and a light crease that did not show up in the photo. Has many working features: detailed engine with removable cowling, full cockpit and retractable landing gear. Molded in gloss olive drab and clear. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. Other kits in this rare series include the B-17 Bomber Formation (3 kits with a special stand and battle-damaged decals), P-38 Lighting, ME-109 (Bf-109), P-47, B-25, B-26 and Fw-190.
