Old Ironsides (USS Constitution) Cannon Kit - Actually Fires Shot Good Wood_Metal old | ||
| From 1978. Very rare. This is a scale replica of a USS Constitution carriage and gun. The scale is not given, but the gun measures 7.5 inches long. The gun actually fires a .45 caliber (.440 inch round ball) shot with black powder. The carriage is completely pre-cut and shaped hardwood with metal hardware and the gun is very heavy cast and machined polished metal. Includes full instructions for building and firing. The kit has not been started. NOTE: missing one of four wheels. Luckily, this is simply round wood stock with a hole drilled in the center. It will be very easy to make. Inventoried with all other parts and instructions. | |||

Mitsubishi Mu-2 'The Mainichi' - High Altitude 2 Prop Engine Aircraft (Ex-Otaki) Good Injection Molded old | ||
| Rare kit from Otaki molds. This is a very early production MU-2. Kit has rotating props, optional position landing gear, clear cabin and cockpit windows and very colorful decals for the box art aircraft. Never started. Factory sealed bag with decals and instructions. Paramount was based in Canada and sold kits from the mid 1960s to the early 1970s when they shut down. Most if not all of the kits were from older Otaki, Sanwa, Nichimo or Marusan molds although some remain unidentified. Kits for sale in Canada has three digit part numbers, and those destined for the USA had four digit numbers. | |||

Piper Aztec C Fair+ Injection Molded old | ||
| 1968 issue and still the only injection molded Aztec kit. After Aurora purchased the Comet molds, they reissued the Comet civil light aircraft line. It appears that Aurora may have been inspired by the Comet kits or sales of the reissues, and they produced several more new molds to add to the line. This Aztec is one of those kits. Since the kit was designed new, it has significantly more detail than the older Comet kits. Features all recessed panel lines, full interior with a sofa, four seats and instrument panel, optional position landing gear and rotating propellers. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. NOTE: box is complete and solid but graded only 'fair' because the litho is lifting off the cardboard and their are dirt stains. The parts, instructions and decals are 'excellent'. | |||

Etendard IV with Automatic Landing Gear and Speed Brakes NM- Injection Molded old | ||
| Very rare large scale kit with fascinating operating features. Older issue from the late 1950s or early 1960s with high gloss box top artwork. The box is in investment-grade 'Near Mint-' condition. Colors are as bright as new, gloss is perfect and all four corners are solid. There are no price tags or tag marks. The model uses a complex series of 6 cogs and gears with wire springs and twine to make functioning landing gear and speed brakes. When you lower the arresting (tail) hook, the landing gear doors open and the nose and main wheels extend. When you raise the arresting hook, the landing gear retracts and the doors close. Furthermore, when you pull out the parachute release at the tail, the speed brakes lower. When you close it, the speed brakes close. The kit is molded in the correct silver for the airframe, white cogs, gears and pilot, clear two piece opening canopy, real rubber tires and metal springs. Never started. Inside, the kit is like new with all parts still sealed in the factory sealed bag. Decals and instructions are present and are excellent. Postal insurance is required for this kit. | |||

Amiot 143 Bomber Exc+++ Injection Molded old | ||
| 1965 high gloss box top 'L' style issue with wrap around full box artwork and yellow-backed Heller logo. The box is graded 'exc+++' and has like new color and gloss. The corners are solid. Very nicely molded and detailed. Never started. Inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions. The Amiot 143 design was first flown in 1934 and was ordered into series production with the first deliveries in August of 1935. A very capable aircraft for it's day, it was obsolete but still in service with 5 bombing groups when WWII broke out. Brave air crews attacked not only night targets in Germany proper but made daylight raids on bridges at the Sedan during the Blitz. | |||

General Dynamics F-102A Delta Dagger Good++ Injection Molded old | ||
| Rare first logo issue. When designed in 1950 the F-102 was a radical departure from conventional early jet fighter design. The delta wing allowed supersonic performance and good low speed handling. It was the first US Aircraft to be armed with missiles alone, 6 Falcons carried internally and 12 x 2.75 inch HVAR rockets in the weapons bay doors. The F-102 equipped all 25 of the ADC squadrons in the day, served in SE Asia and equipped many ANG units. Features opened or closed missile bay, full Falcon missile load, optional position landing gear and wing mounted drop tanks. Decals for two aircraft, one from the 68th FS and one from the 32nd FS. Never started. Factory sealed bag including parts and decals. The instructions are present. NOTE: the decals have moisture damage and are lifting badly. The instructions are stuck to the box bottom due to water damage. | |||

| Good but outdated Dutch Fighter from WWII. The D-21 saw some initial success during the German invasion of the Low Countries, but was overwhelmed by the Luftwaffe. Typical high quality Frog molds with fine panel lines and no rivet detail for a realistic 1/72 scale model. Rotating prop and wheels, with separate ailerons, elevators and rudder that can be fixed in any position you wish. Never started. Box art is by the famous Jo Kotula who did 1930s covers for the magazine 'Model Airplane News' and later the Aurora box art of the late 1950s. Air Lines kits are all Frog molds that the Lines Brothers imported to the USA between 1964-1966. The kits, decals and instructions were made in England, then imported to the USA where Testors created the boxes with the colorful trading cards on the back. There are one or two trading cards on each box which show the boxart but not the advertising/logo. | |||
