Original issue from the early 1970s with the finest mold quality; not a modern reproduction. Well molded kit of the world-famous aircraft includes an extensive and colorful decal sheet. Never started. The parts are either still factory sealed or have been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. In 1933, Wiley Post made solo flight around the world in the Lockheed Vega 'Winnie Mae'. Not only was it the first solo flight around the world, but it broke the previous record set by Post and his Navigator Harold Gatty. Vegas did see military service, with a few operated by the RAAF, Spanish Republic Air Force, and USAAC. (This kit does not include military decals.)

Still factory tape sealed. Rare. Nicely detailed, limited-run resin kit. The Focke-Wulf FW-281 was one of many of the Ta.183 projects. It resembled the previous P.VII type but the major difference was the turboprop HeS021 engine which provided the combined power of the nose propeller (driven through a long shaft) and the tailpipe exhaust. This project may have reached an advanced stage of development since it was assigned FW-281 and no "P" prefix.

Rare first issue hardbox dated 1957. The first issue is P20 and the second is PA20; the "P" designation lasted less than a year. Features retracting landing gear, rotating wheels & propellers, three man crew, optional position door and two survivors in life rafts. The Albatross was the primary sea rescue aircraft of the Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Service, a branch of MAC - Military Airlift Command. Operational service began in 1947 and Hu-16s saw wartime action in Vietnam. Never started. Inventoried with all parts, decals and instructions present. NOTE: the box displays slightly better than the 'good-' grade but is rated as such because there is a long tape pull on the upper long box side.

This superb model sold new for $150 USD. Features around 100 fine cast metal details and the main parts are high-definition resin. Never started. The model is based on the BMW mock-up for a small, lightweight armored tank destroyer of about 3 tons and a two man crew. Design work under the name Rutscher was begun by several manufacturers in early 1942, but till 1945 only mock-ups were made. This is the BWM design with two PKW smooth-bore Rheinmetall guns firing fin-stabilized rounds to an effective range of up to 700 meters.
