Convair F-106A Delta Dart - 95th FIS 'Mr Bones' or 94th FIS 'Hat in the Ring'
VG++   Injection Molded   old
$32

Older hardbox issue. Includes both squadron decals. This high performance follow-up to the F-102 enjoyed a successful and long service life; I can remember seeing them in 'Alert 5' shelters at the Florida Air National Guard base at Jacksonville International in the 1980s. Kit is well detailed and features external tanks, optional position missile bay doors and a full load of Falcon Aim-4 E/F Air-to-Air Missiles. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.
1/50  #2  LS
Type One Gun Tank (Modified Type 97 Medium Tank) - Motorized Forward and Reverse and with Firing Gun
Mint   Injection Molded   old
$125

Very rare. Early L/S armor kit in 1/50 scale. Note the early 'L.S. Laboratory' logo on the high gloss box. Excellent and highly collectible artwork. This model is motorized through a gearbox and rear mounted switch. Bogies wheels drive the tank forward or reverse. The batteries are located in the tank hull. Please note that although LS included the gearbox and all required hardware, the motor was not furnished. Very nicely detailed model with 78 parts molded in green with flexible black treads. The gun turret rotates, the gun elevates and fires a projectile up to 10 meters. The kit has never been started. Inside all items are still in the factory sealed bags with the correct LS headers.
1/150  #105  Lincoln
Douglas DC-7 - BOAC
VG++   Injection Molded   old
$65

Nicely made small scale kit. The kit has never been started. Internal factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. Lincoln was based in Hong Kong. Plastic kits were not the primary business, but they established quite a line of them before discontinuing production in the late 1960s/early 1970s. Many molds moved to Kader, also in Hong Kong, who reissued the line. Many molds eventually found their way to the USA either through ATP (who purchased the excess kit stock when Kader sold out) or IM.
1/32  #02442  Airfix
1902 De Dietrich
VG++   Injection Molded   old
$34

Dated 1988. Very nicely molded and detailed model of this light-weight racer which took part in the 1902 Paris-Vienna race. After the race, it was brought to England were a tonneau body was fitted for touring. The racing was retained and they could be switched out at the owner's preference. The kit has never been started. Internal factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete including instructions.
1/72  #9121  Squadron
(2) Horton Ho-229 Squadron Replacement Canopies
Sealed   Vaccuform   old
$4

Very well molded, crystal clear two canopy set in 1/72 scale. Never used and still sealed in the original Squadron ziplock bag. These clear and thin canopies are a superior upgrade to the thick canopies supplied with most kits.
1/46  #371-259  Aurora
B-26 Martin Maraudeer
Exc++   Injection Molded   old
$475

Very rare first issue from the early 1950s. When Aurora moved to the West Hempstead plant, they planned a series of very large scale bombers. All kits released up to this time had been small. Aurora's instincts were correct, and the B-26, B-25 and B-29 were a big sales success. This box art was done by Jim Cox and was only used for about one year, making it very rare. The kit has never been started and is inventoried 100% complete with all parts, large clear stand, instructions and decals.

  Douglas Model Studio
NASA / Douglas Thrust Augmented Delta Missile
Wood   old
$1800

Very rare hand made model from the internal Douglas Studios. Measures 27 1/4 inches high and is made from wood and metal. Brass name plate says 'NASA / Douglas Thrust Augmented Delta'. Condition is beautiful. Decals are excellent. Paint is very good but there is typical hairline age cracking as the entire missile is primarily made of wood. No broken or missing parts.
1/72  #A-625-100  AMT-Hasegawa
Lockheed F-104 Starfighter Greek and Spanish AF Markings
Sealed Mint   Injection Molded   old
$36

Still factory sealed. From high quality Hasegawa molds. Short-lived venture by AMT to promote Hasegawa model kits under the AMT name. Kits were molded in Japan then boxed in the USA. Unique decal choices for Royal Hellenic Air Force (Greece), Italian and Spanish Air Forces.
1/48  #102-100  Aurora
Sopwith Camel
Sealed Mint   Injection Molded   old
$75

Still factory sealed. This is the 4th known issue of this classic kit, and the second one to share the 102-100 kit number. The blue oval logo dates from the early 1960s. This is only the second box artwork used for this kit, and John Steel replaced Cox for the 'new look' from Aurora. This is part of the famous Aurora WWI series of 1/48 scale aircraft. The series began in 1956 and Aurora added new kits into the early 1960s. The line proved incredibly popular, so these kits were included in the 'mold upgrade' in the 1970s before Aurora went out of business.
  #111  Tern Aero
Curtiss Robin - Rubber Powered Flying Airplane Model
Exc   Wood   old
$18

Very high quality rubber powered free-flight model with simplified stick and tissue assembly and a wingspan of about 15 to 17 inches. Kits contain colored tissue, plastic propellers and wheels (if required), printwood, strip wood, rubber and well made full size plans. The model has not been started. The parts are either in factory sealed bag(s) or inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions.
  #A25  Sterling
Aeronca C-3 - 36 inch Wingspan Flying Model Aircraft
VG-   Wood   old
$65

36 inch wingspan kit for free flight, radio control conversion (RC) or control line. Features die cut balsa parts, die-cut plywood parts, vacuform engine, cowling and other detail parts, completely formed scale wheels, metal and nylon hardware for the gas powered version, pre-formed metal gear struts, rubber, tissue, prop, full size plans, other wood stock as needed and a very large color decal sheet. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. Sterling was a famous manufacture dating back to the 1930/40s flying model craze. Although they continued to produce kits for decades after the flying model slump following World War II, they eventually fell victim to the general lack of interest in modeling that occurred in the early 1980s. I always considered Sterling models to be deluxe kits as they were very complete.
1/48  #J2  Hasegawa
Messerschmitt Bf-109E-4/7 - Helmut Wick Oct '40 Belgium / Wick Sept '40 France / Joachim Muncheberg Spring '41 Sicily / Assi Hahn Oct '40 France / Gunther Rutzow Sep '40 France / Ltn. Steindl '42 Lenningrad Sector

B-25 Mitchell Big Cannon Plane - Four Star Issue

1/45  #H222-89  Revell
Bell P-39 Aircobra 'S' Kit
NM+   Injection Molded   old
$155

1955-56 'S' issue. This is the second issue of this kit which has Japanese kill markings on the nose of the aircraft in the artwork. Richard Kishady did the famous painting for this kit and originally included German kill markings on the nose of the P-39. Very shortly after this, Revell began to export kits to Europe. Shortly after World War II, many European countries banned the swastika. Revell changed the box art to Japanese kill markings, making the kit legal to sell in those countries. Never started. 100% inventoried complete with all parts/decals and instructions present.
