Superb kit of this record-holding, deep diving manned submarine. In 2011, the 6500 set a new manned record by diving to 6,500 meters (over 21,000 feet). Well molded, large-scale kit with superb recessed and raised (when appropriate) surface detail. Molded in white, clear and yellow. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

Original Pre 'S' release dated 1954. Revell's first aircraft carrier model and still a good kit of a straight-deck Midway class ship in the near-original configuration. Features heavy AA battery and an airwing of F4U Corsairs, F9F Cougars, AD-6 Skyraiders and a helicopter that may be a HUP. The hardbox has excellent color and gloss, four solid corners, no fading, no tears or stains, no missing litho, no tags or tape and no marks from either. There is some general, even wear and some creasing as shown Inside, the kit is molded in the correct glossy light gray plastic. Never started and it is exactly as it left the factory. The small parts are still in the factory sealed bag and the parts that were never bagged are still exactly as they were wrapped in the factory tissue well over 60 years ago. Inventoried complete including decals, flag sheet and instructions. The decals are in amazing 'near mint' condition as are the correct large-format instructions and first issue flag sheet.

Very well detailed and features stock 428 CID engine with 3x2 carbs or blown race version, detailed engine compartment, opening hood with optional hood tach, molded underside chassis detail with separately molded exhaust, complete stock interior with optional custom bucket seats, chromed rocker panel moldings, mid-engine race chassis option with roll bar, choice of stock or race tires and more. Molded in white, chrome plate, clear, red-tint clear and with rubber tires. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions. Features clear canopy, two man crew, machine guns, bombs and full decals. Can be built with landing gear up or down and comes with display stand. Very finely molded and detailed kit with traditional high Monogram quality. NOTE: the kits have 'professional' quality subassembly as follows: Kit #1 wing halves; fuselage halves (but not glued to the wings). There is no other assembly. Kit #2 is the same as kit #1, but the landing gear doors are also assembled (in the closed position). No other assembly. Both models have been inventoried and the aircraft plastic parts, decals and instructions are present but NOTE: both are missing the display stands.

Includes two kits in one box but NOTE: builder and maybe some parts kits only. Some are 80% assembled; some are 20% assembled and some have minor painting. Quality of assembly is very nice, I would grade them 'excellent.' With parts from two kits in there, inventory is a nightmare so this is sold AS IS - a builder and parts kit ONLY. With instructions and decals. This collection comes from a picky collector. He loved to start his kits and take all the parts off the sprue. However, they were neatly stored and of the several hundred that I did inventory, over 90% were complete. So your odds are very good but not perfect.
