Bristol Bloodhound Missile
VG   Injection Molded   old
$22

1960s Craftmaster issue with fantastic box art. The Bloodhound was an early Mach 2 surface to air missile that defended Great Britain. The range was about 60 miles. The Bloodhound was launched with four solid rocket boosters. Once these burned out and fell away, the main ramjet took over and the missile road a radar beam to the illuminated target. A detailed and well molded kit. Includes one Bloodhound missile, working launcher assembly and transport trailer NOTE: wheels, skid treads and dog have been neatly painted black. There is no other painting and no assembly. NOTE: missing the Land Rover truck and figures. Contains only the complete launcher, transporter, missile and dog with instructions.
1/72  #681  Airfix
Short Sunderland III
Good   Injection Molded   old
$42

Type 3 logo 1960s issue 'Porcupine'. The box is worn, but the kit has never been started and is still sealed in the internal factory bag. Complete with decals and instructions. The Sunderland's 21-year record with the RAF has made it a legend. Derived from the Empire Class Flying Boat Airliners, Sunderland IIIs had a top speed of 210 mph and an endurance of 12 hours. These qualities made the Sunderland a superb platform for North Sea and North Atlantic patrols, ASW and SAR. Crews usually loved the airplane; it's large size afforded many airborne comforts that bomber or fighter crews could only dream of, such as bunk, a head and an area for food preparation.

Barnstormers! Bob Hoover's P-51D Mustang and Joe C. Hughes Super Stearman with Wing Walker and Diorama
Exc+   Injection Molded   old
$58

1976 issue. This kit is important because Revell was thoughtful enough to alter the venerable PT-17 molds to make a real Super Stearman. Includes new cowling/engine, scoops as required and more. This may be the only issue of the Super Stearman in this scale. Revell issued three of these 'Airshow' style kits in this year H664, H665 and H666. Each contained two aircraft and a color diorama base, backdrop and special stand. If you have all three kits, the three bases fit together to make a large Air Show diorama with all six aircraft. The model has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

The 1938 Mercury (Reproduction) - 36 inch Wingspan Free Flight Balsa Airplane Model
Exc+   Wood   old
$49

This is a reproduction of a classic design and is half the size of the original. It includes full size plans, pre-cut parts and is authentically scaled from the original design. This model came from the estate of a very active and particular early aircraft kit collector. It is like factory-new inside and has not been started. Complete with all parts, plans and decals (if originally included). Designed for 'Sniffing Thermals', the honored pastime of a generation of model enthusiasts. Flying model aircraft predated powered flight; however, balsa wood and printwood were not introduced until the early 1930s and the hobby took off, as well as the hunt for thermals. Gas flight began in the early 1930s, and powered models (most all driven by Brown engines) took home so many awards that they were forever separated in competition from rubber powered models. Design of gas models was tricky since RC (radio control) models could not yet be applied to the mass market; so a gas model had to not only fly and climb under power, but then glide sufficiently - all in a stable fashion and without any operator inputs once the airplane took off.

Avia CS-199 Two-Seat Fighter Trainer (Bf-109 - Me-109) Czech Air Force
VG   Injection Molded   new
$12

Unique kit of this domestically produced Czech two seat fighter trainer based on the Me-109. When the Germans left Czechoslovakia in 1945, the Avia Works completed a small number of Bf-109G-6 and G-14 airframes with abandoned German engines. The single seat aircraft were designated S-99 and the two seater CS-99. Due to a shortage of DB-605 engines, Avia adapted Jumo-211 engines and the single seat S-199 and 2 seat CS-199 were born. First flown in 1949, 82 CS-199s were produced and remained in service till the mid 1950s when they were replaced by MIG-15UTI or CS-102 trainers. Kit includes detailed descriptions and markings markings for three historically significant aircraft. Cleanly molded with very fine raised panel line details and good dual cockpit detail. Nicely detailed. The model as never been started. The parts are either still in the factory sealed bag or have been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. KP stood for Kovozavody Prostejov. Many USA builders had their first exposure to Eastern Block kits in the 1980s from KP. Although they certainly cannot compete with recent Tamiya or Hasegawa kits, they were nicely detailed for their time and can be built up into some beautiful and unique models.

Includes decals for all five aircraft. Well molded. Never started. Kit is either 100% inventoried with all parts/decals and instructions or is factory sealed/factory sealed internal bags.
