Esoteric was known for making perhaps the finest vacuform kits. The moldings are crisp and have fine recessed detail - better than many injection molded kits. Every part needed to complete the kit is included down to the interior. Includes metal parts - decals - shaped struts and full instructions. Never started. The small parts are still sealed in the factory bags; the parts that were never sealed have been inventoried complete, with decals and instructions.

Dated 1965. This is a hardbox kit with the '300' price extension. As with most all early Revell sailing ship models, this one is highly detailed and finely molded. Features full hull, complete deck fittings, vacuform sails, figures of Drake and his crew, preformed rat lines, very detailed painting instructions, rigging instructions, decals and flag sheet. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. NOTE: the sails are intact but several are in less than average condition.

Hardbox issue dated 1960, and the second issue thanks to the '300' price extension. As with most all Revell early ship kits, the model is finely molded and very highly detailed. Model is about 15 inches long when assembled. Features full detail on the top two decks, prefabricated rat lines, vac sails, full rigging material and instructions and display stand. Never started. One sail has damage due to dry rot; the others look 'very good. ' Missing one part: #26 figurehead. Complete with all other parts, flag sheet, rigging material and instructions and assembly instructions.

CV-6 has a combat record unequaled in history of the US Navy and is considered the most Successful Warship in History. Her totals were as follows: 20 Battle Stars, 911 Aircraft Destroyed and 71 Ships Sunk. She took part in almost every major action of the Pacific war from 1941 to 1945. The fascinating history of this ship is told by Commander Edward P. Stafford, USN, in his legendary book "The Big E - The Story of the USS Enterprise."

Big 1/12 scale model with a 36 inch wingspan. Originally designed as a gas powered model for free flight or control line, or can be converted to electric power and modern RC (radio control) gear. Features die cut balsa and plywood parts, wood parts cut to shape, rubber wheels, fully formed wire landing gear struts, covering material, clear windows, highly detailed full size plans with instructions and more. The model has not been started. Inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Berkeley is a very famous manufacturer of flying model kits from the Golden Age of flying aviation, about 1932-1954. Founded in 1933 by William Effinger, the company was quite progressive in producing quality kits - it was likely the Berkeley 'Buccaneer' was the first gas powered model in kit form. In the later 1930s, Effinger acquired the services of a very talented Henry Struck. Struck went on to design numerous award-winning kits under the Berkeley name. Berkeley weathered the post WWII recession and emerged as a major kit producer in the late 1940 and 1950s. These were great years for Berkeley and they produced some incredible and large kits. The company went bankrupt in about 1960 however. Fox engines (Duke Fox) bought the company and released the kits alongside his own FOX models and engines. This arrangement did not last, and in the early 1960s the Berkeley name disappeared from hobby shop shelves.
