Pocher made the finest automobile models ever created and the Mercedes and two Bugatti kits are considered the flagships of the line. The detail and working parts on these long out-of-production kits is amazing. The 540K Rumble Seat Roadster has 2,368 parts of plastic, brass, steel, leather, iron, rubber, copper and many other materials. Working features include operating steering, working steel spring front and rear suspension, headlights that light via a dashboard switch, doors that open and close with operating door latches and handles, windows that raise and lower via the working cranks, upholstered seats with inner springs, starting handle that operates the engine crankshaft, connecting rods, pistons etc. while the fan and generator turn by V belts, opening hood and rumble seat, super-detailed real spoke wheels and much more. The kit has never been started. Inside, all bags but 8 are still factory sealed. The 8 opened bags have been carefully inventoried and they are complete with all parts. This is the second box art that I have seen with this kit - the other version shows the aircraft on the ground. KVZ was the logo used by this East German kit manufacturer from 1969 to 1973. During this time, some fantastic Cold War kits were produced of Russian Airliners and Military Helicopters and Aircraft.
