Original 1950s issue with fantastic Ray Gaedke box art. In 1931, Post and Gatty flew the Vega 'Winnie Mae' around the world in 8 days, 15 hours and 8 minutes for a new world record. In 1933 Post tested a gyroscope automatic pilot and radio direction finder in another record flight lasting 7 days, 18 hours and 45 minutes. This aircraft is now in the Smithsonian Museum. Vegas did see military service, with a few operated by the RAAF, Spanish Republic Air Force, and USAAC. This model features moving control surfaces, cockpit detail, rotating prop and wheels, clear display stand and very colorful Winnie Mae decals. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

From the 1940s and measures 7.75 inches long when assembled. This is a very nice and prefabricated wooden kit featuring all cut out parts, fully formed wheels including spare tire, completely finished interior seats, numerous other parts cut to shape, metal detail parts and more. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes full multi-view plans with construction notes and additional drawings to aid assembly. RedYCut was well known for their wooden kits with a high degree of precise prefabrication. Rare, early AMT 3 In 1 Customizing Kit. The original hardbox has great color, very good gloss four solid corners and no tape tears or price tags.
