| 1994 reissue using the original box art. Made from the original molds for the 'S' kit from 1956. Very well detailed and nicely molded. Features deck guns, all masts and booms, barges and landing craft and full decals. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals, flags and instructions. The USS Randall was on of 57 Haskell Class Attack Transports built for service in and immediately after WWII. The ships were designed to carry troops close to the beachheads, transfer them to landing barges (carried on board) and to supervise the landing operations. Her length was 455 feet and she could handle 1,560 troops and carry 3000 tons of equipment. Through her colorful career she earned many awards. She had to tours in the Pacific including Iwo Jima and Okinawa. After the war she took part in 'Magic Carpet'. Her Hollywood career was in the movie 'Away All Boats' in which she played the Belinda'. | ||||

| The 1st issue of this kit. 'S' Box artwork is dated 1956. Revell's early ship models were remarkably detailed for their time. This kit is no exception and has excellent detail. Kit comes with preformed ratlines and full rigging instructions. Kit even has the original sealed tube of Revell 'S' Cement. Never started and complete. Includes all parts, assembly/rigging instructions, rigging material and flag sheet. NOTE: instructions have a closed tear about 7 inches long. Douglas A-1H Skyraider 'Sandy' Vietnam Rescue Support Good+ Injection Molded old | ||
| Since it's introduction in 1946, he venerable Skyraider has been produced in more versions and performed more duties than any other aircraft in US history. This version is the 'Rescue Support Aircraft' that would fly suppression missions while the Jolly Green Helicopters rescued downed pilots in Vietnam. The Skyraiders slower speed and ability to carry an unbelievable amount of firepower made it ideal for this roll. 1973 issue of the classic 1959 'S' kit. Model has many action features: Wings fold, dive brakes operate, canopy slides to show full cockpit, landing gear retracts and cowling comes off to show fully detailed engine. NOTE: kit has minor assembly. Two wing pylons and a drop tank have been assembled. Quality of assembly is 'very good'. There is no other assembly.
