| First issue. Fantastic kit with 134 parts and a Combat Crew of 5. Kit has almost all the moving features of the real weapon. NOTE: there is no assembly, but the boot, faces and hands of the crew have been neatly painted. NOTE: missing #73 hatch. Otherwise inventoried with all other parts, decals and instructions. The Skysweeper was a 45 round-per-minute that was teamed with the Nike Ajax in the late 1950s/early 1960s to defend America against Soviet Attack. The gun system was radar controlled and fully mobile. It could be set up on any terrain and ready to fire in 2 minutes. The unit was considered very advanced an complex at the time; it took army maintenance crews 37 weeks each to train on the system at Aberdeen. | ||||

| This is one of a wonderful and extensive line of 1/48 car kits from Renwal. Dates from the 1960s. Idea for use in 1/48 dioramas with aircraft, armor or for use in O Scale train layouts. Renwal did an excellent job on engineering and detail for these kits. Features a one piece main upper body, one piece lower body with fenders, complete interior, plated bumpers, grill and many other plated parts as required, separately molded front axle/suspension and rear axle/drive shaft, clear windows, separately molded headlights with clear lenses and rubber tires. Molded in high gloss green, chrome, gloss black, clear, red and with rubber tires. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including instructions. | |||
