	1/380 Ideal RMS Queen Mary 'Super Detail' Wood and Metal Model - 32 inches long Fair- Wood_Metal old			$350
	Ideal was a famous producer of early model kits. In 1911 they released their first aircraft kit, which put them among the first USA model companies. Ideal was unique also in that they released large ocean liners in a 'Super Detail' series - giving us the only large scale Normandie, SS America, Rex and RMS Queen Mary models ever made. This model is from 1938. The Queen Mary measures almost 32 inches long when assembled. It has a solid wood hull that is pre-carved, cast metal fittings (stairs, winches, lifeboats), pre-cut davits, assorted wooden stock, many printwood sheets and printed cardstock. The plans are full size and very good. The assembly procedure is detailed in writing and with the drawings. Sectional profiles are included as well as detail views. Please note that three wooden parts have been cut out. Quality of the work is excellent. There has been no assembly or other cut parts. The kit is complete with all wooden parts and rigging material - the metal parts are still sealed as well as the davits. The plans and cardstock have the typical yellow tint but are otherwise excellent.

	1/135 CANAV EC2-S-C1 Liberty Ship US Navy 1941 Exc Wood_Metal old			$600
	Very rare. Builds to a large 39 inch long model when assembled. Ideal for RC (radio control). CANAV is an exclusive maker of custom models for ship builders and yacht owners worldwide. They have issued very few models, but the models are of the highest quality. This is a very large 1/135 US Navy Liberty Ship Freighter in the 1941 configuration. Construction is frame with skin sides - you build up the interior frame from die cut plywood, and then skin it with the large pieces of thin hardwood. All plywood frames and completely precut and the other wooden stock is hardwood, probably basswood. Includes dozens of cast and brass fixtures which are in factory sealed bags stapled to a very nice display board. Full English building instructions and full size plans are included. This kit has not been started. The parts are either still in the factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions.

	1/96 #B18-M Sterling United States Lines American Scout C-2 Cargo Ship Sealed Mint Wood old			$595
	Still factory sealed. Very highly detailed large kit measuring 50 inches long. For remote control or static display. I have a built-up of this model and it is remarkable. NOTE: since this kit is sealed, I cannot tell if it contains the fittings kit or not. Earlier Scouts only had the fittings sold separately - later issues included the fittings. Unfortunately, I cannot tell.

	#1021 Robbe Sabrina Racing RC Powerboat with Navy-Direkt Motor #4104 VG++ Wood_Plastic old			$90
	Very well engineered model like most Robbe kits. The model is primarily plastic and metal. Features one-piece lower Plura Hull, one-piece deck, strong, water-tight assembly, interior/cockpit, full instructions and all fittings. Includes Motor #4104 Navy-Direkt, a very large electric motor. For RC rudder and throttle operation. This kit has not been started. The parts are either still in the factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

	#B3 Monogram US Navy Cruiser USS Chicago NM Wood old			$195
	Rare kit in investment-grade condition for the advanced Monogram collector. This was the fledgling Monogram's company's third ship kit, issued in 1945. Measures 16 inches long when assembled. Inside and out, the kit is as it left the factory. The box is near mint with perfect colors. Inside, it even has the original hull-protecting cardboard sleeve. The hull is pre-carved. The rest of the kit is wood, printed wood, cardstock and wire. Decals, instructions and all parts are near mint. The kit has never been started and is complete.

	Very rare early Monogram kit from 1945. Investment grade condition inside and out. This is Monogram's second military ship kit in a series of five - a battleship, carrier, cruiser and landing craft. The kit features a fully carved balsa hull, decals, printwood in two sizes, metal life rafts, cardstock and full size plans with complete instructions. I have seen this model built and it is a beautiful large-scale representation of the ship. Measures 16 inches long when built. The kit has never been started. The inside is like new and even includes the cardboard display space and original sandpaper. Complete with all parts, decals and instructions/plans.

	Rare kit in investment-grade condition for the advanced Monogram collector. This was the fledgling Monogram's company's fourth ship kit, issued in 1946. Measures 15.75 inches long when assembled. Inside and out, the kit is as it left the factory. The box is near mint with perfect colors. Inside, it even has the original hull-protecting cardboard sleeve. The hull is pre-carved. The rest of the kit is wood, printed wood, cardstock and wire. Decals, instructions and all parts are near mint. The kit has never been started and is complete.

	1/330 Ideal Ocean Liner SS America / Troop Ship USS West Point / S.S. Australis Wooden Ship Kit Fair Wood_Metal old			$750
	Very rare. Large wooden and metal kit builds to just over 26 inches long. This model is of the SS America Ocean Liner, which was designed by the famous naval architect William Francis Gibbs. She was laid down in 1938 and entered service on August 22 1940 as the flagship of the United States Lines. World War II interrupted her passenger service. The ship was active through the war. She narrowly escaped being sunk off Singapore during the Japanese invasion. After the war she resumed her North Atlantic route. The liner was the pride of the US Merchant fleet before the USS United States was commissioned. When the 'Big U' entered service, the two liners were stable mates and often appeared in the same travel agency posters and prints. By 1964 aircraft had taken a large section of the ocean liner travelers away, and the America was sold to Chandris Group and was renamed the Australis. She sailed for 14 years in a very successful career and was the last liner to sail from Southampton to Australia/New Zealand. She was laid up on 1977. She changed owners several times, but was never again successful. While being towed to Thailand, the lines broke and she ran aground in the Canary Island, where the wreak broke up after time - but not before the locals rescued many items from the ship. The model box is fair but the kit inside is in excellent condition. Large wooden and metal kit builds to just over 26 inches long. Kit features pre-carved hull, metal fittings, very large full size plans, print wood and very cardstock, building instructions, perspective views and rigging instructions/diagrams. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions. You can easily convert it to the USS West Point if you have photos of the ship (which are on the internet) - the main difference is the addition of lifeboats and different paint. Photos of the S.S. Australis will provide the needed data to convert her to that ship, but this conversion will require more work than the West Point.

	1930s/40s kit of a USN Four-Stacker Destroyer. Kit measures about 6 inches long when built. Consists of block balsa, wood stock, printwood, full size plans and color flags. The model has not been started. The parts are either in factory sealed bag(s) or inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions.

	Ideal CV-7 USS Wasp Aircraft Carrier VG Wood old			$190
	Very rare kit from 1941. Measured 18 inches long when assembled. Issued shortly before the war, the model was not reissued after the war since the Wasp was lost off Guadalcanal by what is likely the most damaging submarine torpedo salvo in history. Includes completely pre-molded and shaped wood-material hull, printwood, wood in many shapes and sizes, stamped fiber-board props and anchor, oval funnel (heavy cardboard) and two packs of Casco Glue. Features excellent full size plans and instructions. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions.

	Classic high quality Model Shipways kit of this beautiful and historical cutter.
