Early hardbox issue from 1965 with box art by Howard Arnold. Unusual kit of a famous subject. The model features very good detail, full rigging instructions, vacuform billowing sail and display stand. Measures roughly 10 inches long and 12 inches high when assembled. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions. The ocean going Polynesian Sailing Canoe is a critical part of Polynesian heritage and history. Through many trips in and across the Pacific Ocean, Polynesians spread to numerous islands. One example was the colonizing of present day New Zealand as early as 1280 AD.

Early hardbox issue with great artwork. Nicely molded small scale ship model that measures about 7 inches long when assembled. Full hull kit includes very nicely molded wood plank and deck detail, very fine copper plates below the waterline, molded-in deck detail with separate cannons, masts and ratlines, display stand and billowing sails. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions.

Modeled from the two Tuna Clippers (sister ship is Sea Magic) of the Avondale Marine Ways Company of New Orleans. These hard-working boats and crews roamed the ocean year-around in a dangerous business. Many vanished without a trace. The Gulf Star was wreaked on a reef off Peru. Model has a hull length of 13.5 inches. Very nicely detailed kit even includes rigging material and rigging instructions. Never started. Parts are still in factory sealed bags. Includes instructions.

Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. The Lozier was a large four cylinder T-Head rated at 45 horsepower. The wheelbase was 124 inches and she road on huge 36 x 4.5 tires. This Pyro car model is based on a car that was owned by Thomas J Lester of Chargin Falls, Ohio that Pyro engineers and designers had access to. The model includes rubber tires, brass plated parts, colored injection molded parts and clear parts. Features detailed chassis, complete motor and interior and a removable hood or 'bonnet'. The kit has never been started. Internal factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete including instructions.

NOTE: the valve cover is missing. It could be fairly easily made from stock plastic. Otherwise inventoried complete with all other parts and instructions.

Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. The Pyro car models are based on the actual cars that Pyro engineers and designers had access to. This model is very nicely molded with very good detail featuring full underside and chassis, spoked wheels and complete interior. Molded in dark green and clear. The box states that it can be converted to a 'road racing' or slot car. Never started. Inventoried complete with all parts and instructions.

Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. The Pyro car models are based on the actual cars that Pyro engineers and designers had access to, in this case Gary Cooper and Clark Gable's automobiles. This was the Duesenberg Company's last great automobile before going out of business in 1937. The Model J was a superb automobile and the fastest and finest car of it's day. Never to be outdone, the two brothers made two supercharged 'Super-Duesenbergs' were constructed from J models and are referred to as SSJs. The out put was a whopping 400 bhp. (The term SSJ was never used by the factory) The model includes rubber tires, chrome plated parts, colored injection molded parts and clear parts. Features detailed chassis, complete motor and interior and a removable hood.
