Out of production and very hard-to-find. This high-speed, long-range bomber was built near the end of WWII but did not see action. Features rotating turrets with elevating guns, full cockpit, optional position bomb bay doors and bomb load. Has markings for Japanese and captured American Evaluation aircraft. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The T-2 was first flown in 1971 as Japan's first supersonic trainer. The design proved successful and served until replaced by the F-2 in 2006

Features opened or closed missile bay, full Falcon missile load, optional position landing gear and wing mounted drop tanks. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: decals are present but in very bad condition, they cannot be used. When designed in 1950 the F-102 was a radical departure from conventional early jet fighter design. The delta wing allowed supersonic performance and good low speed handling. It was the first US Aircraft to be armed with missiles alone, 6 Falcons carried internally and 12 x 2.75 inch HVAR rockets in the weapons bay doors. The F-102 equipped all 25 of the ADC squadrons in the day, served in SE Asia and equipped many ANG units.

Hasegawa Grumman S2F-1 (S-2A) Tracker - Hi-Vis Paint Scheme, 1/72, 102

Well molded kit, likely from the late 1970s or early 1980s. Has markings for US Navy VS-21 and JSDF. Features cockpit detail, retractable radome, optional position landing gear and rotating props. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. Over 1000 Trackers were completed for the Navy as carrier-based submarine hunters. Grumman was awarded the contract in 1950, and in 1952 the first XS2F-1 flew. The large belly radome contained the PAS-38 search radar and the AWQ-10 MAD detector was in the tail. ALD-3 ECM performed DF (direction finding) duties, and the 70 million candle power spotlight lit up targets at night. Sonobuoys were held in both engine nacelles and offensive weapons included acoustic torpedoes, depth charges, rockets and conventional bombs. Trackers saw service in several other Navies including Canada.
