Second issue from Monogram in this scale from 1977. Very well detailed kit with typical Monogram high fit and finish. Canopy opens and closes, nose radar and cockpit are fully detailed. Includes full AIM-7 Sparrow, AIM-9 Sidewinder and drop tank loadout, pilot figure and more. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

Unique kit from 1968. This model features Monogram's excellent F8F and P-51B kits molded in Racing Blue and Bright Red, special racing decals, and a large-scale, heavy cardstock red/white checkerboard 3-D pylon with special stand arms for a 'in flight' display of both aircraft rounding the turn. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Please note that while the box has stains as shown from moisture damage, the decals have no stains and are in 'excellent++' condition. The cardstock pylon is in 'near mint' condition with no stains.

Rare first issue hardbox dated 1957. The first issue is P20 and the second is PA20; the "P" designation lasted less than a year. Features retracting landing gear, rotating wheels & propellers, three man crew, optional position door and two survivors in life rafts. The Albatross was the primary sea rescue aircraft of the Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Service, a branch of MAC - Military Airlift Command. Operational service began in 1947 and Hu-16s saw wartime action in Vietnam. Never started. Inventoried with all parts, decals and instructions present. NOTE: the box displays slightly better than the 'good-' grade but is rated as such because there is a long tape pull on the upper long box side.
