The sleek Yak-4 was designed for ground attack and light bombing with a top speed of 352 mph and 3 machine guns for defense. When it entered service in 1941, it proved to be extremely vulnerable compared to the Il-2. Production ended in 1942 but the remaining Yak-4 were assigned to high altitude reconnaissance for the rest of the war. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions.
