Rare promotional item from American Airlines that was available mail order in the early 1960s. 'Skyway Models' was a marketing arm of American Airlines, and two kits were available as promotional items: The fan powered 707 and the Lockheed Electra. Box is the correct brown with 'Skyway Models PO Box 66396 W. Los Angeles 66, California' stamped on it. Inside the box is a bagged Revell 1/140 American Airlines fan engines 707. The inner plastic bag is still factory sealed. The kit comes with the famous clear 'Globe' swivel stand.
