1/144 8516 Entex Dornier Do-X 1929 12 Engine Flying Boat VG+++ Injection Molded old Famous German Flying Boat built in 1929. Dornier dreamed that this huge aircraft would become a trans-oceanic airliner with passengers traveling in ocean liner-like luxury. A tour of South and North American was conducted, but orders never materialized due to excessive fuel consumption and a lack of power. Total load was 170 passengers and crew, and the 12 engines developed 7200 HP. Former Otaki molds with over 110 parts, and a 13 inch wingspan. Never started.
