1/48 5923 Monogram Pro Modeler F-102A Delta Dagger Early Production with 'Case X' (Squared off and Turned Up) Wing - Extra Decals and Eduard Color Photoetch Detail Kit Good+++ Injection Molded old Kit includes decals for 5 aircraft total - the factory markings for 509th FIS Thailand March 1962 and 118th FIS Connecticut Air National Guard 1969, and three more on another sheet- 327th FIS ADC (early markings), 317 FIS Alaskan Air Command and 190th FIS Idaho Air National Guard. Also included is the Eduard FE-263 Detail Set including numerous cockpit parts, film instruments and much more with many parts done in color. This Monogram F-102 kit is the only correct early production 1/48 Dagger Kit. The first Daggers off the line came with the 'Case X' wing which had upturned and squared off tips. Later aircraft, starting with serial # 56-1317, had the Case XX wing. The -Twenty wing has a rounded, turned down tip with larger elevons that are angled with the tip. Never started.
