Very rare multi-media 'plastic and pre-carved wood' kit. Before there were injection molded plastic kits, model builders worked in wood or metal. Advanced companies, like Monogram, saw the advantage of plastic and began marketing kits with plastic details and fully-carved fuselage, wings, etc. This beautiful kit is one the highest quality composite static kits from the early to mid 1950s. Includes factory-cut wings with airfoil, completely carved fuselage, clear plastic canopy, colored die-cut wooden parts, plastic parts including pilot, wheels, bombs, gear struts and doors, inlet and exhaust, nose strut and wheel and more. The model has not been started, and inside is as it left the factory. The wood has not been punched from the sheet balsa. The plastic parts were factory bagged sealed and are still sealed. All other parts were never sealed and have been inventoried complete including sand paper, decals and instructions. The large decal sheet is in 'excellent' condition.
