1/96 H1843-1200 Revell Apollo Saturn V Moon Rocket - 46 inches tall Exc++ Wood_Plastic old Hard to find first issue from 1969. This is the best example of this kit that I have personally seen. It is unusually complete with all first edition paperwork, factory sealed parts bags and an exceptional box. The box grades 'Exc++' and features like new color and gloss, all solid corners and is free from rips, tears, price tags or tape, tape or tag marks, etc. The only flaws are light surface wear and light scuffing. The tabs that close the box are intact and all internal packing material, including the holders for the completed kit, are intact. Mold quality is excellent as is typical with the first issue. (Molds become worn as reissued are made and detail becomes less crisp and flash appears.) This is the finest large scale injection molded kit of the legendary workhorse. Model actually comes apart and each sequence configuration of the Apollo Mission can be demonstrated with this model: Lift Off, 2nd stage, 3rd stage, separation, docking, lunar orbit, lunar module separation, lunar descent, lunar exploration, lunar lift-off, docking, starting for earth, separation, and reentry/recovery. Includes a clear panel for viewing the lunar module inside the Saturn V. A moon base is included in case you wish to display the Command Module and Lunar Module separately. The kit has never been started. The parts that were in bags are still in factory sealed bags. All parts that were never bagged have been inventoried 100% complete. Complete with excellent condition instructions, decals, clear window material, 1969 Revell miniature kit catalog, order form for the Apollo program record and 'The Apollo Story' illustrated booklet.
