1/87 440-595 Aurora The Wander Whaler Poor Injection Molded old Rare 1966 hardbox kit. Very large 1/87 scale (2 feet long) and detailed kit of a classic commercial whaler. This model was one of a small series of large scale sailing ships made by Aurora to appeal to the serious ship modeler. Molded in correct dark wood, black, tan, ivory and white. Features billowing sails, metal anchor chains, running and standing rigging, molded ratlines and display stand. The box is poor but inside the kit is like new.
